  1. There is a company that does a CF dip, can't remember what they are called but there was a link on these forums to them (from a good while back!) Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=vPCMtlFenvo http://www.ftd-technics.de/englisch/index.html
  2. With a 28" circumference backbox, its a beast - I have one, though you have to be really careful when navigating any of the square speed humps so you dont give it a good smack or worse, rip it off. Whenever I take my car for an MOT, they always ask if I've nicked it off a bus!
  3. I never met Paul in person, but did have several discussions with him in PM and he came across as a really nice bloke. RIP Paul, thoughts are with his family & friends at this sad time.
  4. Doesnt the master cylinder need changing too? I was under the impression the UK version is different from the JDM one, and that if JDM cars have the UK upgrade from the factory they come with the UK spec master cylinder, otherwise they come with the JDM one.

    PC advise

Graham, Just a FYI regarding the memory, if your using Windohs XP it only makes use of 3GB max, so getting 4GB and running XP will be a waste. If your running Vista then 4GB wouldnt hurt
  7. Are you after a new head unit? My JDM came with a Kenwood Z707 CD player (10 CDs I think) and Kenwood X707 graphic equalizer in the double din slot (they are seperate units, but are obviously linked together). Its a Jap head unit, but I have the radio-band-expander unit so you can receive UK radio stations, only downside is that there is no removable panel on the facia, and it still shows the Jap FM band (for example, you'll be listening to BBC Radio One but the display will be something like 87.5) http://carview-img02.bmcdn.jp/carlife/images/UserCarPat/1051642/p1.jpg I've since replaced with with a single din unit.
  8. Didnt they (Pompey) recently announce publicly that Tony Adams had their full support? Still, not the first time a club has said their Manager has 100% support from the board, only for them to be sacked a couple days later. Football needs performance related pay, the excuses given for justifying their wages make me laugh. I remember one pro footballer being interviewed, they tried to justify that they where worth £xx,xxx.xx amount per week because their football career is short lived, with many retiring in their 30's. It obviously didnt occur to him that there is no law stopping you getting another job once you quit professional football.
  9. You'd make a solid box and then the buyer can cut the whole to meet their requirements. It would need to be a fairly big box to accomodate the various filter types on the market.
  10. Possible causes: 1> Low Disk Space: Check that you're not low on hard drive space (the hard drive that windows is installed on). 2> Excessive Process Consumption: Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select Task Manager, then when you open the browser and go surfing on the Internet. If it seems slow, leave the browser open and then switch to Task Manager, click on the 'Performance' tab and check what the CPU/Memory usage is like. If it seems excessive (ie: CPU over 50% / Memory over 70%) there could be a running application that is causing the problem. Whilst still in Task Manager, click on the 'Processes' Tab, then click on the column title "CPU". Clicking on this title will order the currently running processes by CPU Consumption in Ascending order, clicking it a 2nd time will order them in Descending order. Check to see if any processes are consuming high amounts of CPU usage (you can ignore the "System Idle Process" which is usually in the 90% range). If nothing looks out of the ordinary, click on the "Mem Usage" column and see if any process(es) are consuming large amounts of memory. You can try ending any offending process(es) to see if it improves the speed. 3> Slow Internet Network It could just be a problem on your network, somewhere between you and your ISP, or your ISP and your target website. You can open a command prompt (START > RUN > Type "cmd" without quotes). At Command Prompt enter: "tracert http://www.target_website.com" (without quotes). This will perform a trace route from your computer to the website you're trying to view. It will show the ping (reply) times for each point in the network. High pings (over 70) would indicate a network issue. Other... You could also try clearing browser cache and cookies, defragging your hard drive as mentioned already (it wont defrag if your using the computer!), or installing a software package to maintain your PC such as TuneUp Utilities 2009.
  11. Lancaster Insurance offer an agreed value on a classic car policy, car must be over 10yrs old to qualify and will have a limited mileage restriction.
  12. Cheers Michael, will pop down there later. I hear the meddling EU are trying to ban some Plasma TVs that consume too much power - labelling them the "4x4 of the living room". The power consumption info for the TH-46PZ80B is: Anyone here think thats a high consumption?
  13. How much is it to join Costco these days? Edit: Bugger, you need to present a costco voucher to get it at that price
  14. I rather like that (and will own one if I ever win the bloody euro lottery!)
  15. Not sure if its a real kit for the Supra Benkei. I've had a quick look at the mod after installing it, the models are well done and the sounds are also new and are rather good. The cockpits are also new, not sure how authentic they are to real SGT500 cars, but atleast its not a R34 dashboard like the previous Supra mod I linked to. The NSX and 350Z's also look and sound great.
  16. I've not got around to installing this mod yet, so not sure what the cockpits look like or if the sounds are tweaked or pinched from other vehicles. However the NoGripRacing forums would seem to suggest that people love it!
  17. This one looks nice: Mod - Japan SGT500: :: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=15595 (Part 1 - rename to Japan_SGT500_Part1_v1_0.rar) :: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=15596 (Part 2 - rename to Japan_SGT500_Part1_v1_1.rar) Then extract Part 1 (it will then auto-extract Part 2). 18. Some electric tooth brushes already use that (or similar technology) to charge the batteries.
  19. I'd like to live where he does (not the same house, but in the same area)
  20. PM Sent The book I've just ordered from Amazon is Professional SQL Server 2000 Programming (Programmer to Programmer). I've had other books from the same publisher in the past and found them well written and structured.
