  1. From the picture the crack looks to be deeper than the lacquer. If its a GRP/Carbon bonnet its most likely to be made using a polyester resin (cheaper than epoxy), in which case as a last ditch attempt before you bin it you could try drilling a hole at either end of the crack (without going deep enough to touch the CF) and then use a dremmel to remove the resin along the crack (again without touching the CF weave) so you'd end up with a trench in your bonnet - which you can then fill with polyester resin and flat back, it will never look like new though. You'd need the steady hands of a brain surgeon and a lot of luck as the CF weave isnt usually that far from the surface.
  2. Cheers, will have a look into it
  3. Im not sure if we have any therapists here, but my friend has recently relaunched her website aimed at such individuals/organisations. :: http://www.comptogether.co.uk Its a networking site for therapists to promote themselves and build business links (therapy referals, etc) with each other, membership is free. Thought I'd mention it. For anyone looking for a therapist, there is a 'joe public' side to the site (called "Purple Pages"), its like a yellow pages for therapists in your area - only its purple lol. Im tempted to have a massage, I just dont know which kind to go for. Mods: If you deem this post as spam then please delete and accept my apologies, I just thought it may be useful to someone (as well as my mate).
  4. As an initial cost it looks pricey, but in the long term it would pay you back as it wouldnt need re-doing down the line as Chris points out. If you're only going to keep your Supra for a short while it may not appeal as a stick on kit would no doubt last the duration of your ownership, but if you see yourself keeping it for a good while and you like bling dashes its not a bad investment. Having been in the composites game, I know how much labour would be required to produce a mint bling CF product.
  5. If anyone is looking for a good deal on Motul RBF600 there are 5 bottles (2.5L) currently @ £35 + postage (6.95) here on eBay I recently purchased some from this seller.
  6. Off the top of my head I would say you'd be looking at around £1000 for the mold and a GRP composite. If you want to go for a kevlar/carbon or carbon composite expect to pay higher. You'd have to ask them directly.
  7. Whiftbitz sell the v160 oil, check out their section on the forum, I've just ordered some.

    Trojan problem

    How did you get on?

    Trojan problem

Hmmm. Try here: http://www.threatexpert.com/reports.aspx?find=d3dramp.dll&x=7&y=8 It lists all threats that mention d3dramp.dll, one of them may have symptoms you've experienced and could help you to resolve the issue. To me, with your keyboard being slow, it sounds like a keylogger of some sort.

Have you tried booting up into safe mode and running a scan then? Try MBAM, it will run in safe mode. Failing that, if its set to run as a service on startup (which some self-replicating trojans do) you will need your OS CD so you can disable it via the Repair Option of the Windows Installation (assuming your on XP). However, before you can do this you need to find out which service it is running as...google would no doubt reveal more info. Quick search reveals it as a legit MS file: http://www.bang.ro/d3dramp_dll.htm Another reveals it as a more recent suspicious file: http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X3417569969996136374-X1/D3DRAMP.DLL.html
  11. I wouldnt have to dodge the bullet, I'd catch it with my teeth.
  12. Did I link to the same product?
  13. It doesnt matter if your brake lights are on or not, if the person behind you is not giving themselves enough room to safely brake without hitting you its their fault.
  14. http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/frame-detail.asp?PAGE=/hks-exhausts.html They list 2 types of Super Drager Exhaust for the supra, one is £534.78, the other £654.96 The deaer one is for the 1JZ-GTE engine (mkIII supra), the other doesnt say so not sure if thats for the 2JZ-GTE (mkiv). EDIT: http://www.temple-tuning.co.uk/hks-super-drager-exhaust---toyota-supra-jza80-turbo-977-p.asp
  15. Impressive Matt, even more impressive is that you drove back through time on the way there to 2003
  16. Sounds like you have a virus on your laptop Jurgen. When you google for something, hover over the result links and see if the URL shown in the status bar at the bottom of the browser is identical the link shown in the google result. Sounds like you're being redirected by a virus. Are you able to access Windows Update and update your AV? If not, sounds like a rootkit virus.
  17. I think I've found a potential buyer for them...
  18. Im wondering if the GB did actually use P4P as Ryan quotes an email from a "Paul" in the GB thread regarding the order - and that coincidentally is the name of the chap I know Plus, he used my Supra to make a template of the rear quarters. Anyway, dont want to go off-topic any further, car looks fantastic Ryan, keep it up
  19. Oops sorry, only just checked this thread out. *gets coat and scarpers* Edit: Don't know how I missed post 18
  20. What are your plans for the glass Ryan? A chap I know owns Plastics4Performance, I think he may be able to help you out with some Lexan replacements, though I havent seen him in a while. I could find out if you like?
  21. I think a lot of the chavy bodykits have also played some part in the value of them. Long Live Stock!
  22. lol, I'd like to see you dance with one of them!
  23. I suddenly find myself tempted to go out and buy a hool-a-hoop! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-itOBGTBVq4 Warning: Video contains attractive female dancing to techno!
  24. I think some idiots do it because they want you to burn them off so they can see how quick the Supra is. Truth is, I drive my Supra slower than my Alhambra!
  25. With a circumference of 28", the Super Drager has to have the biggest back box I've seen on any car, therefore making it more prone to getting a smack going over speed humps. I have one on mine, and there are certain roads I just cant go down for fear of ripping the damn thing off. Heckler: Out of interest, how loud is the WhifBits exhaust?....is it really droney on motorways like some others? (with it being stainless as opposed to mild steel)
