  1. it wont run if its low on gas, may just need a re-charge from a local A/C specialist (or you can do it yourself with a Halfords kit).
  2. I was absolutely delighted with my JDM I got from Jurgen, as stated above, he doesnt import crap as it would be bad for the reputation he has built up, plus he knows the in's and out's of the importing process. For his fee you get peace of mind.
  3. Cheers everyone, will wait for a nice dry day to come along (im sure we have some left) and will take it for a good drive without the A/C to see what happens.
  4. I believe that could be the one bottom left in your pic ian (the one with the green marking on it), do you happen to know what it is?
  5. Here is a better pic. Note that the pipe now bends to the left on this pic since I rotated it. Ian: No I didnt see your edit till now, I do still have the charcoal cannister installed. The pipe goes into the bulkhead and not down it. Could it still be related to the cannister?
  6. Im pretty sure its not the brake lines, fuel feed or return pipes. Not sure what the EVAP emissions piping is. I'll go see if I can get a better pic of it now, I've got a slim lamp somewhere so may be able to get more light down there to highlight it better.
  7. The vertical white line you see is a piece of painted wood - in an attempt to highlight the pipe lol. Just at the bottom of the white wood, you can just make out a grey bit, thats the clamp holding the rubber hose to the connection on the bulkhead. The upper red line points to where the pipe comes from the bulkhead, the lower red line shows the pipe just after it bends (in this pic, its bending to the right). Its really hard to get a good shot of it due to the narrow space and other obstructions.
  8. Ok, I dont think this is a drain hose for the bulkhead as rain water past the wipers would appear to drain via the wings and not the bulkhead. So, Im now facing the possibility of it being Aircon related Can anyone confirm if the hose is a drain for the Aircon system? I've had a look through my Supra manuals and cant see anything specific regarding the draining of the system should there be a leak. I've followed the A/C diagnostic check and everything appears to be fine, the A/C blows hot/cold air fine, but after another drive today to get engine temps up to normal operating levels, I still have a leak from the hose highlighted in my pic. Im pretty sure it is nothing to do with the engine. Edit I know the pic above is not that great, but its hard to get a good pic of it due to other obstructions. It is a small rubber pipe coming from the passenger footwell side of the bulkhead, it has a 90 degree bend in it, it comes out of the bulkhead about 3 inches before the bend and then down a 2-3 inches.
  9. Hi Folks, I went for a drive today to stretch the Supras legs, came back and noticed a water leak under the car (running off the cross member). I believe I have found the source of the leak, a small rubber hose coming from the bulkhead. I have attached a pic to this post. Can anyone confirm if this is the drian hose for the bulkhead? The water leaking from the car did not smell of anything, nor was it hot so Im *hoping* its just a drain hose as the car has been sat outside in the rain recently and not driven that often of late. Will be taking the black 'windscreen wiper' trim off tomorrow to investigate incase there are any blockage issues such as dead leaves, etc. Cheers Si
  10. I've not seen that many 3D movies, but for me it was very well done. I was expecting the red/green paper glasses but ended up with some proper specs that looks like shades. Apparently the movie uses REALD. RealD uses circularly polarized light to produce stereoscopic images. Hence the performance is better than with linearly polarizing systems which suffer from visible double imaging if the head is tilted to the side. You also dont get colour loss like you did with the older red/green paper glasses method.
  11. Its not worth rushing your recovery if you have a prolapsed disc mate. My brother did his back in on news year eve - one prolapsed disc and one herniated disc, all he did was bend down awkwardly to put something of little weight onto a shelf. He spent all of January on the floor as it was the only position he could get comfy in, he was off work for 6 months. If you rush your recovery you may cause further damage. The pain your experiencing is most likely caused by pressure on your sciatic nerve (by your disc). If the disc 'pops' out of alignment by a certain amount you'll need an operation to have part of it chopped off (to relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve), this op will leave scar tissue that increases the chance of you having an aching back for the rest of your life (albeit not as painful as it is now). See a physio and try to get your doctor to arrange a scan to see how bad the damage is.
  12. I watched the 3D version of this in the cinema, absolutely awesome!
  13. I think we should stop playing Cricket all together, and we should stop rewarding sportspersons (politically correct term) with MBEs and OBEs because they win something once every decade. PS: As Im sure you've gathered, Im not a cricket lover
  14. If anyone has already suggested this then forgive me, I dont have enough time to read 5 pages as im starving and my tea is getting served up Anyway, download MalwareBytes and Combofix - run Malware Bytes first, update it then do a full scan. If it finds anything tell it to remove it. Once you've done that, run combofix, again if it finds anything tell it to remove it (if it doesnt do this automatically). That will remove most of the common rootkit viruses on your PC, some that normal AV software dont detect (as rootkits run at a higher OS level than some AV software).
  15. He wants to change from a stock one to an aftermarket one for aesthetics, not to save weight over stock which as you say would take some doing with a composite bonnet (a vac-formed CF one would be the only contender if saving weight was the goal).
  16. The alternative choice to CF is GRP (glass reinforced plastic), cheaper to produce than CF composites but weaker and generally heavier. Most CF bonnets on fleabay are a CF/GRP mix, a pure CF one would be more expensive and lighter (if done properly).
  17. BINGO! ...free lolipop to that man! Cheers Michael
  18. Also have a read on the following "GTR 2 / Supra Mod" thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=112433&highlight=gtr2 You could be driving an SGT500 Supra around the ring on GTR2
  19. I saw a video on one of the MTV channels last week, the video featured 2 guys - a caucasian guy with his face painted white (looks a little like "Tubes" from "Soccer AM"), and another guy (not sure of ethnicity) dressed as an indian/apache indian. It has a really catchy chorus, but for the life of me I cant remember a single word of it lol, nor can I remember the name of the song or band. The song does seem to start off rather slow, but then picks up when the chorus comes in - does anyone have any idea who it may be? Its not a new song recently released, but im pretty sure it was released this year. Any ideas? PS: Yes, I am clueless about music
  20. FYI, you can still get v160 from WhifBitz on here, possibly from some other traders too.
  21. I saw an interesting documentary on Sky the other day about a scientist who was burning salt flares over the sea, the salt particles within these falres then rose accumulating moisture, it formed a cloud that was more reflective of the suns rays than 'normal less salty' clouds. Quite interesting, his aim once proving his theory was to create ships that basically put salt particles in the air to make the clouds more reflective and thus cooling down the planet. However, it had its drawbacks - such as less rays for crop growths, etc.
  22. Just remember, in the meantime DO NOT use Listeriene mouth wash - its like battery acid and will make you cry like a little girl if any of your teeth are sensitive due to missing fillings/cracks.
  23. So your mate installed his copy of WinXP Pro and used his mates WinXP 'Home Edition' key? Or during the install of WinXP Pro on your PC your mate said he was the computer owner?...so in Control Panel > System it shows your mates name as the "registered to" person? If your mate has installed WinXP Pro on your PC, and you have a WinXP Pro CD and key then you can use a tool to change the key from the one your mate entered to the new one you got with you're XP CD....saves you having to resintall windows.
  24. Boots sell a temporary filling repair kit. [edit] http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=11051&productId=867726
  25. If your mate has installed WinXP Pro why are you trying to install another copy of XP over it? If its a case of changing the Windows Key to the one for you're copy then you dont need to reinstall WinXP for that, there are tools available (google is your friend).
