Thought I'd throw the HKS SuperDragger into the mix, its mild steel exhaust with a 28inch circumference stainless back box, seem popular amongst people who want a quiet exhaust with a nice growl when on boost.

If he'd have injured himself doing that he'd be off work on the sick at our expense. Of course coppers are just people at the end of the day (atleast, I'd like to think most of them are)....but Im glad his boss put him straight on how to deal with snow-related situations in the future.

Cant comment on the above Im afraid, but if you have no joy with the above you may also wish to consider the following: :: Car Mad Stylings - http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/car-mad-stylings__W0QQ_armrsZ1 :: Knight-Racer - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?u=2859

I've got 8 inches........of snow where I am in St.Helens, had to get to the Golden Square Mall in Warrington for 8am....I gave up trying at 10:30am as I was still in Newton...a good hour and half away at the rate progress was made on the roads...still, got paid to take the day off and went for a walk around a local dam here....like being in another country. Came across a picnic table and decided to make a snow family...though my snowman turned out like a cross between Shrek and Sloth from The Goonies (the middle one in the pic below).

You're welcome mate, it would appear the IE8 alignment issue I mentioned was also related to the issue - it aligns fine now. I can't tell you how valuable the Firebug extension has been to me when debugging some of my own stuff

If you where to buy a sh*tter of a car for a tenner somewhere and then violated the terms of your Section 59 (ie: wheelspinning away whilst tooting your horn outside the local police station) - would they then not scrap the sh*tter and that would be the end of it (clean slate)?

Get the Firebug extension for Firefox, then right click the area with the gap and select "Inspect Element" - this will show the code in the region you clicked. As you mouse over the HTML elements they will be highlighted in the rendered website. When I view the link in Firefox 3.5.6 I see a big gap between your image and the navigation links below....is this the problem you are referring to? If so, using Firebug, it would appear the gap is caused by the element in the following section of code: header_3_top_side_left.pnghttp://www.tomshosting.co.uk/Vanilla%2DBrown/preview/header_3_top_9.jpgheader_3_top_side_right.png There a couple of things to try, the first and probably most suprising is to remove any line breaks/spaces between the opening and the following tag, and do the same for the closing . This usually causes issues in IE from my experience. If that doesnt fix it, try giving the a custom class - for example: // CSS p.trim { margin: 0; padding:0; } // XHTML header_3_top_side_left.pnghttp://www.tomshosting.co.uk/Vanilla%2DBrown/preview/header_3_top_9.jpgheader_3_top_side_right.png If that doesnt do the trick, try the same with the that the section of code is contained within. There is a padding/margin issue somewhere though in my opinion. PS: In IE8, the image doesnt align up correctly horizontally, its out by about 2px, its noticeable on the "Vanilla Brown" sign to the right.

In making the most use of a modern PCs resources. No game since Crysis has really challenged a 'gaming' PC rig, whats the point in upgrading to the latest technology if games will only push hardware that is over 4 years old for example. The last couple of 'big' releases on the PC platform have come no where near to pushing a PC in terms of performance, theres no point in having an expensive gaming rig if modern titles are optimised for an XBOX 360 and then ported to the PC. Likewise, not many game developers are making full use of the latest DirectX Libraries, considering PC gamers have had access to 64bit OS's and DX10, how many games have been released that take full advantage of the technology?

The hype machine of 2009 promised us Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising and Modern Warfare 2 as the two potential GOTY (Game of the year) titles, they turned out to be overhyped and a rather big let down (atleast on the PC). Both titles (again on the PC) where dumbed down in terms of features due to them both being console ports from the XBOX 360. 2010 is currently touting Bad Company 2 and MOHAA (afghanistan) as the two GOTY titles in the FPS genre. I'll wait till I've played a demo or read positive reviews from gamers before I purchase either - reading gaming magazines and websites for a honest review is pointless since publishers only tend to give pre-release copies/event access to those media outlets that hype them up and a positive light. Bad Company 2 does have dedicated servers, a +1 starting point for a FPS title on the PC, the destruction looks cool but there is every possibility it will be tweaked down to better optimise it before the game is officially launched. I think its embarassing that Crysis is still being used as the utlimate gaming benchmark on the PC so long after its release (FutureMark excluded).

See my garage for an example of the Lexus TTE 9 spokes that have a diamond polished/dark graphite finish.

Its not cut off because of ice, its cut off because of idiots who dont know how to drive in icy conditions. There are some numptys driving around here like there is no ice on the road at all!

You're welcome, and welcome to the forums

The character hit boxes in MW2 are bigger than they are in COD4 (atleast on the PC) to minimise the effects of lag on hit detection. Its hard not to kill somone lol.

Yes I believe it is a chrome rap as it looked like the one in the link quoted below: I'd agree that a chrome wrap would be chavvy on most cars, but I think the GTR35 is a car that can pull it off, it did look the dogs danglies and Im not one for chavvy cars - atleast I like to think so

I was driving past Middlehursts (Nissan Dealer) in St.Helens on thursday morning and saw a Skyline GTR-35 with a mirror finish to it. It looked absolutely amazing, I had to do a double take at first as I couldnt believe it, the shiniest car I've ever laid eyes on!

As suggested above, download MalwareBytes and run it in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. This will allow you to update MalwareBytes to ensure you have the latest version. You may find that some trojans/malware will prevent the MalwareBytes EXE file from running, if this happens rename it to something less obvious (ie: "banana.exe") and it should then run. If MalwareBytes doesnt do the trick, you could try ComboFix (checks for rootkits and can detect some that MalwarebBytes doesnt), however you should read up on using ComboFix before you use it.

The new MOHAA game due in 2010 is to be set in modern day Afghanistan, it is being hyped to rival both Bad Company 2 and MW2 (rivalling MW2 on the PC shouldnt be hard!). I boycotted MW2 once they announced no SADS/SDK, I play in a clan and the game isnt balanced for competitive play....or any support from InsanityTard from the sounds of the official MW2 PC forums. @ Edge: If your PC meets the requirements on the game cover then you may be able to get your money back via a chargeback, here is a quote from a post on the Infinity Ward forums (since accidentally deleted!)

The problem with taking them off the car permanently is removing the sticky tape that glued them to the exterior rubber trim - you'd probably have to replace that to make it look mint.

You usually see that kind of contamination if the the PC is located close to the ground or on the floor (carpeted floors are usually the worst). You can safely vac them if you are careful to 'hover' a crevice tool above the components (you're arse is not a suitable crevice tool!), if you opt for an air duster make sure the PC is cold (ie: first thing in the morning before you power it on) as air dusters generally produce an ice cold jet of air (sometimes liquid) which doesnt go down too well with heated components, not to mention that air dusters just blow the dust into the air...where it will later settle everywhere else!

A word of warning for PC users, it has been discovered that hackers are able to send Trojans through IWNET! The trojan is detected as TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen. It is not known what it does, but most likely it is some form of keylogger to steal personal information (maybe to steal your STEAM account info). Since IWNET gives you no control over where you play, you could be put into a game with such an undesirable (such as |KOT| members) and run the risk of being infected. This is another *facepalm* for P2P networking. Link: http://www.infinityward.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=181646

http://www.destructoid.com/activision-gamers-demand-to-pay-more-for-call-of-duty-155190.phtml There is another article by Activision CEO Bobby Kotick but I can't find the link at present, he basically doesnt want them to produce games with longevity such as COD4 has to this day, he wants games where they control all aspects of modifications so they can control DLC and the shelf-life of a title, presumably so they can knock out sequels on an annual basis.

Out of curiousity, do any of you PC gamers read the Inifinity Ward MW2 (PC) forum? If not, then I guess you wont know that: :: Whilst the game was developed on the PC platform, it was developed and optimised for the XBOX 360 and then ported back to the PC. The MP EXE file for the PC contains numerous XBOX commands (link) :: In the PC game, you may see this as further proof of the game being an XBOX port (image) :: Activision have stated their intention to charge ALL platforms a fee for online gaming in the future (its their new business model) :: You can modify your PC game to show a more accurate ping representation (link) :: Most, if not all COD4 console commands are still present in MW2 (it is the same game engine afterall), however they are disabled so you cant modify your FOV or Max FPS, etc. That said, a modder has created an app that enables those console commands so you can play the game how you want to - not how IW want you to (link) Given Infinitys Wards pre-release promo blurb praising IWNET and its P2P performance in defence of the removed support for dedicated servers and the uproar that followed from the community, it does raise the suspicion that Infinity Ward have tried to visually mask the inferior network performance of MP by not only replacing a numerical ping with a graphical alternative, but to also set the default values for scoreping_interval to 100ms and maxbars to 4. On default configuration, 4 bars represents a ping of 0-100ms, 3 bars presents 101-200ms, 2 bars represents 201-300ms and 1 bar is 301+. No one familiar with PC games will need to be told how bad this is, more so for an FPS title.

Paint forensics would determine if the suspect car was the culprit. However you'd have to pursue this out of your own pocket as it would be a waste to try to claim via insurance.
