Cheers Lui, Another well organized event spoilt by the shocking weather!! Only stayed till 11:30 before calling it a day. Too be honest me and my mate where totally soaked before we got out the car. I pulled over once we got into the grounds to let the guys behind catch up. I had the drivers window down and a **** in a civic raced past through the lakes of water which sent a tidal wave of dirty, muddy **** in through the window. Not happy at the time but can see the sort of funny side...will have to spend some time now trying to clean it all as it is covered in dried in mud! Still I could not have had as bad a day as the guy we left at the services in the Carrera 4S who had obviously lost it and taken all the corners of his car off!!! Ouch!!

I am currently having my driveway done and so far have been unhappy with some of the work. The contractor I went with has done loads of driveways in the area and comes recommended. I did my homework and went to see a few that did look great as a finished article and even spoke to some of the home owners who said he was very good. However, there are some aspects of his work which I am unhappy with and cause me concern. Basically the driveway was not dug out deep enough, the quality of the sub-base is not type 1 but simply builders rubble and to make this firmer he has added concrete to the mix which I undertand is very bad practice. Has anyone else had poor experiences with work like this? Can anyone advise on what I should do! He also put the price of the job up by £400.00 from what we had first agreed. Whenever I approach him on this he get frustrated with me and simply says he has been doing this work for 25 years and I should trust him and leave him to get on with it! Knowing only a little about driveway construction I dont feel I can argue against him but my gut feeling is I am getting ripped off!

Can anyone suggest a good place to try for windscreen replacement. Not for the Supra but for my 306 diesel. Bloody mini on the M4 threw up a stone and has put a massive crack in the screen. As its my run around its only insured TPFT and has no windscreen replacement cover. Autoglass want £245.00!!!! Can anyone give me any other suggestions for getting it replaced. (in the Berkshire area). Cheers

Guys Your thoughts please. When not using the Supra I have a peugeot 306 diesel estate for racking up the motorway miles. The other day I was as merrily travelling round the M25 when suddendly there was a noticable vibration that felt like a wheel out of balance. I slowed down and coasted a few times with the clutch depressed to be sure it was not the engine or drive and the vibration did not change which makes me suspect a wheel balance problem? Could I have lost a wheel weight that would cause this? As the strange thing is that for the remainder of the drive the vibration would stop for a bit then come back? I have jacked up the front wheels to check the bearings, wheels etc and they feel fine, before I ask for all the wheels to be re-balanced is there anything else I should look at? Cheers

If you really feel like sticking it to old `Roland` then borrow an decent air rifle (or something more pokey!!) Best way to lure them out is a bit of bacon rind tied to a strong thread or fishing line about a foot long that is then staked firmly in the ground (use a long tent peg or similar). Mr Rat will come out have a look at the bacon and run back to cover, they do this about 3-4 times before they feel safe enough to grab it. Once they grab it they wont let go.....thens your chance to blast the pesky rodent!!!!

Pete, perhaps your the man to ask. I have for a while been mulling over a kit car (already built), something like a Tiger, DAX or something similar. Obviously your a fan, what are the realities though, is it a great fun car to have for sunny weekends or do you spend most of the time fixing and tinkering with them? I love the idea of one but am worried the reality might be quite different?

I think so.....the graphics are very good and I like the game play but you have to spend some time getting involved with the game before it starts to make any sense. It is a little repetative but as its such a massive game with nice touches I forgive it. On my personal scale its a 7 out of 10 Note - If you do like this type of game then an absolute must have would also be - Drakes Fortune

Go for one of the better developed products that has more than just AV, look for spyware, PUP detection, desktop firewall....as always my bias is toward McAfee.

COD4 great game in single play but for shoot em up online play I still prefer GRAW as its more tactical and much easier to jump in and out of game rooms. (COD4 is just to random running around for me, too slow to get into a game and you cant play with your mates very easily) Drakes Fortune is also a must, lovely graphics and very addictive.

Yea I know!!! Phew...! Gutted for my neighbours though especially one of them who is an old lady in her late 70`s. For someone of her age to have the hassle of cleaning it up, sorting out the insurance, getting it fixed etc.. and for what! I live in a really nice area and dont usually get this sort of problem. Having spoken to a few people these kids are from out of the area and are now milling around different neighbourhoods to avoid their own areas where they are know by the police! We are now subject to nomadic chavs!

Lucky escape....for me anyway! The other night I was up late and heard some kids walking down the road. I live on a quiet street so thought it unusual and went to the window to have a look. Two boys and a girl about 15 yrs old where walking along and one had a house brick in his hand! Just then the little ******* goes up to the back of my car, and brings his arm up to lob it through the back window!!! I shouted at him before he chucked it, he swore back and then legged it with his mates! I called the police who where quick to turn up but the ****** had all disappeard! In the morning I get up to find two of my poor neighbours up and down the street had their back windows smashed by these tossers! What pleasure can they possibly get! Surely there has to be some change in the law soon to come down harder of these utter *****. Rant over!!!
