  1. Cheers Hiten Partmaster dont do them and cant advise where to get them from! (computer says no....sort of thing)! If you do find out where your mate got his bits from I would be very grateful. Cheers
  2. I'm not sure it will win any beauty awards but it could be fun!
  3. Cheers Hiten, I am guessing its something like this as the whole thing only has a few component parts. Its definately not the bulb and the colors seem OK so I guess its not the colour wheel either and equally the mirrors seem to be opperating so I assume its the PCB as Samsung suggested. But I am no expert on this stuff so it could be any of these or non of them? Problem is diagnosing it properly and trying to get the component parts. Its seems almost impossible in the UK to get bits for them and I may have to go to the States? I equally dont want to spend a fortune getting a technician out who takes 30 seconds to pull out the PCB and stick in a new one! I hate technology.......!
  4. Just an outside chance someone might be able to help? I have a Samsung SP50L7HXX DLP TV that I have had for about 20 months from new with no problems at all. However, during a TV program last night the TV just went off with a `popping sound` losing sound and picture! It then went through its start up cycle automatically (with a strange internal buzzing noise that happened a couple of times) and the picture and sound returned as normal. I left it on for about half an hour and it all seemed OK. I then turned it off for a few minutes and then back on and this time only got sound, no picture! I then turned it off and on again and got both sound and picture back OK? Does anyone know what may have failed in the TV and recommend what I should do next as its now out of manufactures warranty? I have posted this on the avforum but no responses as yet, I have also spoken to Samsung who are useless but suggested it could be the PCB but want to wash their hands of it as its outside of warranty! Does anyone know anything about DLP TV's and can help point me in the right direction?
  5. Oh yea, another pet hate..... 'BARRY SCOTT SHOUTING AT ME TO TRY CILLIT BLOODY BANG' !!!!
  6. There are loads of rubbish ads on TV at the moment and the one that I particularly dislike is the one for Green Flag Recovery. Simply for the fact that there is a bloke in the ad that is half down a manhole in the middle of the road eating his lunch.....who the bloody hell eats a sandwich when they are half way down a sewage pipe!!!! Just rubbish.........
  7. LOL Poshmalc......lets see yours then! Or are you a wannabee newbie?
  8. Come to Berkshire....there like Corsa's round here.... Well not quite, but this neck of the woods does seem a bit of a hot spot for the Supra?

  10. Cheers Gareth, thats the stuff!!! What did you use? Where did you get it from? Also, no issues re MOT?
  11. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to tint the front orange indicators to tone down the orange or even turn them black? I cant be a****d to change them over to clear ones yet even though I appreciate this would be a better job. Note, if you do tint the orange indicators out to black does this have any MOT failure implications?
  12. Mark Was it this http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/twin_stock_bov/index.html Did you get your Blue Peter badge after finishing it!
  13. Cheers Ric.....I guess I will have to get an `aftermarket` BOV to eliminate this. Out of interest, appart from the annoying `WWwooooo` is it having any other detrimental effect on the car?
  14. Ric, I would agree if I had not already changed the stock BOV and the hoses. Made absolutely no difference!!!!!!
  15. Mine does it hot, cold, sunny, or wet.....makes no difference.
  16. VIL

    wot could it be..??

No, that was just for the refurb inc parts.
  17. VIL

    wot could it be..??

Probably the starter, mine did the same. Dont get a new one just get it refurbished, cost me about £45.00 inc the parts!
  18. MMMMmmmm.....mixed reaction, although I was expecting this. TBH it does look better in real life than it does in the photos, but I take on board peoples comments as I am still undecided myself. Although I disagree that only the Dodge can carry off the look. What about the Ford GT, AC Cobra, Mustang, Mini etc
  19. I will dare to be different for the moment, but if I get laughed at when I roll up to the next Reading meet then they may have to go!
  20. I know its not to everyones taste but its not that bad is it? I will see what sort of reaction it gets over the next few weeks and decide whether to keep them or not.....to be honest it will be a lot easier and quicker to get them off than it was putting them on
  21. After much deliberation I could resist no longer and had to fit them just to see what they looked like. I know they are a 'love em' or 'hate em' thing but to be honest I quite like them (before anyone comments I ran out of decal before I could do the spoiler, more stripes on order to finish it off!)
  22. Thanks Trick, I thought it must be something like this but how did you do it? They look like a sealed unit. How did you split it?
  23. I have replaced the 3rd brake light for the second time and am still getting some of the LEDs not lighting up when the brake pedal is pressed. If you hold the brake pedal down then sometimes the missing lights do come on but will go off again? Why would this be happening? Is the second light I have bought knackerd also? It just seems odd that most of the LEDs come on and the ones that dont will occassionally work?
  24. Fortunately not me..... Was following a Mazda Eunos Presso down the A329 and noticed it smoking a bit, it seemed to get loads worse as it came off at Showcase Cinema then bang.... it let go! Dont know much about these cars but I would have thought they were pretty robust and can take a fair amount of punishment? Really feel for the owner as this is gonna be expensive!
  25. Just about to get a load of parts for the Sup and thought I would ask the question before spending lots of money at Toyota and other places. Bits are for a 93 TT Jspec Auto, standard JZA80 If anyone has any of the following sat in their garage etc that they want to get rid of (cheap ) then let me know: OEM Timing Belt OEM Timing Belt Tensioner OEM Aux Belt OEM Aux Belt Tensioner Rear pads Jspec Front Pads Jspec Rear Hand Brake Shoes Jspec OEM Fuel Filter Set of Plugs Looking for new parts only. Cheers
