  1. Nope, I thought that but its totally wet all the way through the belt as far as you can pull it out!
  2. I have had a right run of bad luck recently! To add to my woes I went out in the Sup today, the girlfriend gets in and tells me her seat belt is soaking wet! The car has been sitting for a couple of days in the rain so water has got in somewhere? Anyone had the same problem, any ideas where the water is coming in? I have had a good look and all the seals look OK and the rest of the car is dry, the carpets, seats etc all dry?
  3. Cheers Gav, really apreciate this! If I can get a bit more life out of her then its worth it as the alternative is off to the scrap yard with her anyway.....
  4. Gav I know you have posted on previous matix bypass threads, in this situation what would be your recommendation?
  5. Cheers Rich, bythat do you mean join the pipes together?
  6. Chaps can anyone advise. I have a Peugeot 1.9 Diesel estate that has blown the matrix for a second time (weak point on these cars). Its at the point of beyond economical repair, although the car is quite useful to have. My question is am I better to join the inlet and outlet pipes together or to blank them off? I know I run the risk of head gasket problems but if i can squeeze a little bit more life out of the car then I would be happy. Cheers
  7. Looking for the odd bits and came across these guys, has anyone used them in the past? http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/default.asp All the stuff is aftermarket but was wondering about quality etc...
  8. LOL.....yea sign me up I am a real stickler for the rules.....
  9. I was having a conversation today with a mate about this program and technically him saying 'you're fired' is B******S as they where never actually hired in the first place! If it was me getting the chop I could not help but respond - 'sorry beardy, what you actually mean you pompous old t**t is the interview is over and I have not got the job!' (then walk off in a teary eyed huff )
  10. At some point you need to take the sensible route.... Keep spending money on a car that depreciates (all be it slowly) is not a good use of cash, especially when there are more pressing things to be using your money for! Remember you can always get another car when you are more financially secure....but you wont ever get there if you dont make the sacrifice! Lifes rubbish like that....

  12. I have a mate interested please send me your contact details and I'll call you Sunday. Thanks:eyebrows:
  13. Strange and fortunate you should be discussing this issue now... I have just done the heater matrix in my diesel estate and rather than change the matrix again (have already done it once) I was going to bypass it? I cant see a huge amount of heat loss through a matix occurring as its pretty small so little radiating effect and equally it has no air flow? I may be incorrect in assuming this so will watch this thread with interest....
  14. Cheers! You really need to see it up close, the photos dont do it justice!
  15. Selection of photos from the Reading meet this week, sorry if I have missed you off....will take more photos next time

    Ringtones

Black Dog - Led Zepplin !!! Classic!!! Like a lot of people tend to do my own from MP3`s. Quick tip if you dont have a smartphone or have limited memory space you can trim the MP3 file in WavePad which is available as a free trial download http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html
  17. Bored whilst watching the TV.....what do you think of my crappy 10 minute effort of a supra 575
  18. Nice try Darryl I am director/partner of BlueBeam Security and sell McAfee, Symantec, Sophos etc so no preferences to anyone.....just independent advice http://www.bluebeamsecurity.com/
  19. Dont discount McAfee, I know it can be a little bulky and sometimes will slow the machine while it scans.......this is because its actually doing something (unlike some programs that fool you into thinking they are doing something)!! If you are looking for really useful free stuff add SiteAdvisor to your machine, runs independantly of the AV and pre-warns you of bad sites, phishing sites, spam sites etc http://www.siteadvisor.com/ Equally we also provide a great bit of home kit from GSEC1 that comprehensively covers you from lots of vectors of attack take a look at http://www.xgate.com/ Really cheap and a must if you have kids who use the internet!
  20. Yea, from the pics it looks like a nice car and they have got some MKIVSUPRA.NET stickers in the quarter lights so was hoping to find out whos car it is? Any ideas?
