Heavenly Sword is good but completed it in a few days!!! Apparently GRAW has just come out on PS3 which is definately the best game on the Xbox so should be equally as good for PS3. Note to get the most out of this you need to be hooked into the on-line play...its awsome on the 360!

That is a brilliant transformation!!! Can I ask how much they charged to do that!

Whats worst about these dimwits is their reaction to you reacting to their driving! I had it on Sunday, looking to pull out from a slip road onto the motorway and some nuggett in a chaved up MG thing comes racing up the inside lane undertaking all the slow moving traffic forcing me back into the slip road to avoid an accident. So when I do pull out (behind him) I give it a full beam to let him know what a knob he is. He then starts with all the fingers, swearing through the window, swerving in front of me etc.... so I dig deep and let it go as he clearly is a feckless tosser. But it does leave me mad when he is giving me grief over his hopeless driving!

Thinking of sizing up from my 17" to 18" alloys (with jspec brakes) Few questions: 1. will aftermarket 18" wheels bought for an MR2 fit straight on? 2. will i need any spacers of any kind? 3. what size tyres should I be looking for the front and rear? Cheers

What a load of....... Why do people rave on about Halo...just been playing on-line and in no way does it compare to other games. IMO, Perfect Dark, Gears of War and of course the mighty GRAW are by far better on-line play!

I think the correct term now is 'people with learning difficulties'...

Get an expensive one in case the student loan runs out!!!

Take it to small claims...you have nothing to lose. 1. it might sh*t her right up thinking she has to lie in front of a local judge 2. the law looks at everything subjectively with supporting evidence and you have more than she does. 3. if it all goes pear shaped and you lose your case you are only in the same position you are in now! Seriously, start proceedings....she might not be discussing it with you now but once that letter hits her doormat you see how fast she is to get on the phone!

I was following a Ford Puma the other day and after about 10 painful miles of M4 rush hour hell I had a very worrying thought! Has anyone else noticed how the Ford Puma rear lights and a few other bits show a similar resemblance to a MKIV pre facelift?

Afternoon....not gone quiet, I just have to work for a living! Ian, in my post I did mention (Off the top of my head.....) as my opening line, if people want to hunt for specific threads then that up to them. They are just ones that I seemed to recall. The intention of the first post was to see why people react to others, in many cases new posters in the way they do. Now this thread has looked specifically at TXT speak but it was not my intention to focus in on this one issue. It may just be me....and by the looks from most of the comments it is...but I just think that some people can come across fairly aggressive or overly defensive. Yes there are two sides to a coin, people like the banter...etc.......and I am certainly not defending the nobbers that come to the site who immediately start upsetting people. But at the same time I do sometimes think that there are people here quick to judge others and dont mind adding the odd unesessary scathing comment! Am I wrong?...it seems I am!

do it .... do it ..... do it ...... Well thats my opinion, but then again I have done it..... Actually I did it just to see what it would look like and to be honest the pictures dont do it justice as it looks better in the flesh. However, I did only do it as an excersise and they may be coming back off shortly.....problem is it will then look like the many thousands of other silver supras on the road again and I wont get spotted as much! If you are going to have a go then I have 3 tips: 1. get wider stripes than mine at least 8-9" wide 2. put them closer together eg about a 2-3" gap 3. set asside most of your day as getting it on the car straight, cut to size etc is a long job.

Thanks, this is effectively the attitude I like to think I take with new people. I like this club, its members, the meets etc but sometimes find myself mystified at some peoples immediate reactions and comments to people they dont know. I just think that a club is just that and should be open to everyone who owns a supra, wants one or shows an interest. Not everyone has had a university education or can express themselves in pure Queens English but does this then not qualify for them to join a car club? I agree that TXT speak or slang is poor and sometimes diffcult or annoying to read and should not be encouraged. Although there are polite and positive ways to address this and look to build on the clubs membership rather than the current aggressive, piss taking ways used.

I tend to agree, but why does it have to be an either or? Equally who am I to decide what is right or wrong, good for the club or not....its not my decision or that of anyone else really...its a club and will attract all walks of life! Why should some people feel they need to stand guard over who should and should not contribute? Sure I have views on individuals but tend not to air them as they my opinions and not that of the masses. I also think that with the closed shop attitude it stops many people from joining beyond their post limit and does this club really not wish to be taking on any new members or take in any more membership fees?

Thank you This is exactly what I am talking about....

This is not a moan as such but sometimes I just don’t get some people on this forum? I am constantly surprised at some peoples reactions to new members when they come on the forum for the first time introducing themselves. These people have obviously found the club and registered their interest and I am sure want to get to know its members and benefit from what the club has to offer. However, time after time we see people immediately digging at them, commenting on their spelling or punctuation….the list goes on! Why? As an enthusiasts club we should be welcoming all comers and building the user base as much as possible, not putting people off immediately and slamming the door in their face. I just don’t get the initiation ritual of ‘piss taking’ as I for one would never join a club who jumped on my every sentence, my spelling or gave me grief on my first few posts. My personal opinion is that this club is the sum of its parts and if we are to encourage new members then a modicum of tolerance and understanding would not go amiss. I rarely feel the need to comment but recently I have seen a few posts where this issue seems to be getting worse! Rant over

MisterSheen...just what I am thinking of doing....love it!! Can I ask * how much did this cost to do? * did they mask the window rubber? * how long roughy did they have the car for? Also do you have a picture of the whole car with this done....? Cheers

Simlar question, but if you where looking to get them properly filled and the tailgate re-painted (plus removing the wiper and doing the same) does anyone know how the bodyshops do this? What and how do they fill the holes?

Yea, 'TwoScoops' was looking for a decent black supra, could not find one so has just bought a SL 55 AMG....and it is bloody quick. Went over to Windsor in it yesterday and drove it back. It pulls a lot smoother that a Sup and just keeps on going, you get a lot of looks in it.....and the sound is just awsome! He has had all manner of fast cars before, M3's, Porsche's etc but to my mind this is the best yet....what a car!

LOL totally agree Although Dragonball I would not discount McAfee altogether. I know £50.00 is fairly steep, especially when compared to free stuff from AVG etc.. Although as with Supras...you get what you pay for and in todays world anti-virus is only a small piece of the security puzzel. The reason the price has gone up is that the product is not just AV anymore and it has to be more capable to protect you from the many avenues of attack (viruses, spyware, spam, phishing, pharming, hacking etc). This means more R&D, development, support etc Although I agree also with Geneb..its the free stuff that keeps us in business
