    RS*R'd...

Don't know what a VFCC is but it sounds good! I think getting there slowly is the best way to do it. If you do everything at once theres nothing to look forward to. Good luck with it
  2. That front looks superb I take it you've got a fmic then
  3. Yeah they did come out a bit big didnt they!
  4. Hi Got this blow off valve with the supra but aint had chance to play about with it yet. Does anyone know what make of BOV it is? And whether or not it will bolt directly to my engine? And will it be worth it? I think a stock one is on there at the moment. Thanks

  8. Hi Chris I was asking myself the same question 2 yrs ago and like you I wanted a Supra for many a year. I joined this club 18 months before I got my 'dream car' and got plenty of sound advide from the great bunch on here before I actually bought one. I went out in a few n/a's, drove a few and came very close to buying one because, like some have said here, if you've only driven escort's and fiesta's it may be wise to get a n/a and then upgrade to a TT later. But then I went out in a TT and after the first few seconds my mind was made up Maybe not just cos of the acceleration, but the awesome sound as well. So I bought one. Up to May this year the fastest car I'd driven was a Rover 620 Turbo Diesel! I knew it would take some time to get used to the power so I took it easy for a while (not too long tho!) All in all Im glad a got a TT because I know if that if I didn't, I would't be getting what I wanted. You haven't got to drive it like a twoz, sometimes you just poodle round grinning, knowing that you're faster than nearly all the others Definitely take your time buying one, definitely buy one thats been looked after (from a member here's a good place) and definitely. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . BUY A TT!
  9. Hi Jim You have to upload your pics to a free site like http://photobucket.com/ Then it gives a IMG code which you have to copy and paste into your post
  10. I know how to get a photo onto a post but it appears as an attachment. How do i display it in full in the post?
  11. They say keep a minimum gap of 2 seconds from the vehicle in front but obviously this must be increased to compensate for road/weather conditions. Only thing is, on motorway driving when all lanes are flowing at same speeds, if i leave a safe gap some twaz will move into it, thus taking away your nice safe gap
  12. Have a beer on me, but don't drive the supe home (any normal car is ok tho)
  13. Neither did I! But then again my budget was a bit higher and I was waiting to get a 100% mint one, glad I waited tho. I think the longer you have to wait for something you want, the more you appreciate it when you do get it
  14. Very sensible. I was looking for 18 months before I found the right one for me and believe me, it's worth the wait!
  15. Good luck finding one mate, you won't regret it;)

    Finally!

Hi all Its been a long time coming but I've finally got my dream car! When I first started driving (back in '92), 1 of my mates had an Escort RS Turbo and for 5 years I wanted one but could never afford the insurance . But then I saw a Supra for the first time and I was quickly converted but again, couldn't afford to insure, or buy 1 But now its here! And since I bought it I've not stopped grinning every time I'm driving it! At first I decided that I'd get myself a n/a to keep costs down, with an auto box as Ive never owned an auto, but I wanted to get it right 1st time. So after looking at quite a few I decided to go for a black TT with a manual box (but I'd settle for an auto). I then looked at a few black TT's, but there was always something that wasn't quite right that put me off parting with my £10,000. Then I heard of a TT, Black, 6 speed Manual and a UK to boot which was just about to go up for sale from a club member, so I went to have a look and fell in love straight away, (with the car, not the member!) and so bought this little beauty! Some of you may recognise it, as it was Graham S's Supra who's a member here. He was selling to fund a wedding and really didn't want to let it go. He told me that driving it is the best feeling you will ever have and will never get tired of it! And I've got to say he wasn't wrong! I take it out whenever I can and I don't think I'll ever stop smiling every time I'm behind the wheel
  19. Nice motor Jurgen, if only it was black and a twin turbo I would of had it!
  20. Sorry I didn't act a bit quicker now! When u get another one like this let me know!
