  1. Excellent, thanks for that!
  2. Sounds good. I'll try to find out who it is! Thanks
  3. Thanks Noz, I'll keep that in mind
  4. Hi all, I need to get my car to Whifbitz on Monday 13th June for some work but don't want to drive it there (from Essex) due to an oil leak. What's the best way to get it there? I have another car I could tow it with if I had a trailer or pay someone to tow it there for me? Any help welcome, thanks. Firepool
  5. Hi all, To all the Essex members, who do you trust to carry out work on your beloved Supras? I need a few bits done around the engine and want to take her somewhere they'll look after her!
  6. Hi all, Looks like my alternator has stopped working. Can anyone in the Essex area recommend a garage to repair, or swap for a recon unit please?
  7. Brilliant info guys! Thanks a lot! I'll let you know how I get on
  8. So it's a denso condenser, not stock Toyota? Or Toyota fitted these as standard?
  9. Thanks mate. I didn't know you couldn't get replacement parts. Think I'll refurb all the bits I can then and look to get a replacement rad
  10. Would any of this be salvageable before I send to the supra parts graveyard?
  11. Hi all, Could you tell me how much you think my UK Supra is worth please? All the details of it are in my garage, and it's at 79000 miles, never driven in the winter or rain. Garaged when not being used. Thanks.
  12. Gutted I can't make this! I'm working but next year is a definite! Have fun people!
  13. Brilliant you got it sorted at no loss to you. As the others said, rarely do you get justice when these events happen.

Unless you keep it garaged through the winter and don't ever drive in the rain!
  15. I rifled through my garden hose spares box and found a bit which you would tighten onto an outside tap, fitted perfectly! I'll be putting it all back together this week sometime so hopefully all goes well.

    Radiator

Tried mine earlier and it fits perfect so I think you were just unlucky. Although I bought mine from their parent company. I managed to flush the matrix earlier both ways, got some old coolant out but no crud or other nasties so well happy. Didn't need to have ignition on and heater on max as the water valve must have already been open. Looking forward to fitting all my new bits now; new radiator, thermostat (one I took out worked fine but replaced anyway), Toyota long life red coolant and new blue silicone top and bottom rad hoses from Whifbitz. Happy days
  17. I'm gonna flush my matrix today or tomorrow. Did you use any special fittings to connect the garden hose up to?

I'll check mine later and let you know.

    Radiator

I got mine from their parent company but not tried it yet, but maybe less things to get wrong with a rad for a manual (fingers crossed)! That's exactly what I thought lol
  20. You must be happy with that! Very nice
  21. Bet the missus wondered what you was doing putting them in the oven
  22. Not usually keen on white but that does look nice

Which one of these is the heater matrix inlet hose? And can I also flush through the return hose (with ignition on and heater on max)?
