  1. Glad you are enjoying it mate - looks stunning
  2. Hi all after some OEM parts - Ideally two OEM bonnets drop me a PM please
  3. Good old Max Power hey! if anyone went to the Max power event, they did have some of their old antics on display!
  4. Haven't asked - just put me off a bit cos they just drag race everything.
  5. you're right I do need to make up a stand of some sort - the people who do remember it give you the best reception though cos they are pleased to see it on the road. @Noz http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/articles/mpower1.htm some of the story here - some of these pics were used for their catalogue - which i have at home (has Blitz EBC, gauges, Nur Spec exhaust etc etc)
  6. They had two cars - one, the one in the video unfortunately they crashed and had to be trailered away - they then used mine to break the record and use Racelogic to tame it. it was then used as their promo car in Europe. The video, like most films, has some smoke and mirrors - it was the second car that did the record but they already had film from the first so they used that. either way they took the record off the Porsche Gemballa here's a short read - it can be translated via google https://www.blitz.co.jp/about/blitz/his_753supra.html for the eagle eyed - i changed the lights to 'modernise it' back in like 2011 so will put the pre-facelift lights back on sometime soon
  7. I had that option but those guys dont really tell the story and instead just drag or race the car vs others - i didnt like the idea of that tbh going to see if I can find someone else
  8. unfortunately not many know the history and think it's just a stickered supra ! some look at the time and say, that's not very fast! they don't know, it was full lap record in 1997! trying to get her recognised again but I dont really know many 'media' type people
  9. Still own the blitz, in secure storage, she was at Go Japan last year and due to attend this year but I wasn't well I was also max power in the blitz a month or so ago
  10. Car was imported by HJA and has 11k km now, was 8k when imported. ex Tokyo Auto Salon car for a Japanese Tuner called TCP-MAGIC - who builds cars for Mad Mike and focuses now on Rotary (1000bhp mx5, 1200bhp S15 with a 4 rotar!) anyway thought i'd share with fellow owners
  11. anyone else interested in joining please let us know
  12. if we get enough interest we can make it a regular thing, it's a mix of cars, a mate with his gt3rs will join us in August along with a 720s hopefully. Get those cars ready guys :).
  13. Be nice to have you both. Have a supra coming from London and Luton also to join us so should be good. look forward to meeting
  14. A few of us are planning to meet up in Horsham and would be awesome to have more Supra's attend. Date: Saturday 31st July Time: 10am at Pease Pottage then onto Torque Moto Cafe in Horsham Address: 10b Graylands Estate, Langhurst Wood Rd, Horsham RH12 4QD
  15. I'm keen to attend this meet - also who leads organising this usually?
  16. Ok so I've managed to finalise it with Classic Line Insurance - they were awesome and i recommend them. all the cars are now with them expect the daily M3 (which is with Admiral and has some minor mods)
  17. lol I'm not far off to be honest - how time has flown! I've put higher value down i guess its that
  18. that's cheap, mine are coming in st over double that but I dont have a choice so gone with it
  19. They didnt get back to me in the end, gave them over a week - they were checking the Tracker requirements but didnt give me a price which i was disappointed about. their loss cos it is a policy for 4 of my cars, all highly modified
  20. I've just gone with Classic Line who came out the most competitive but now it's a case of agreeing the value - i have views and they need to agree/challenge me. I dont plan on selling but I am keen on having an agreed value as I plan to use all of my cars this year for events even if I only do about 500 miles a year, if that!
