To step away from the sciency bit: The reason that all telephone numbers in (american) films have the area code 555 is that in an old musical (whose name escapes me) they had a song with the telephone number "Pennsylvania 65000" repeated through the chorus. Unbeknownst to the author it was an actual phone number and the owner got a heap of crank calls from fans of the movie and sued the author, film studio and music company. They now use the area code "555" as it doesn't exist

I have my doubts about " the biggest concern being the use of guns with the public around", they used cherrypickers to mount them, which means they were at height and if the guy can put "several rounds" into a square 4 inch space from a road junction below the camera, I wouldnt have too many fears of him hitting my car. Got the flywheel on my Zed TT resurfaced and it came up like new. the guy before had been running a 6 puck clutch on it and had grooved it to hell and back, made a massive difference to get rid of the grooves.

The only doc I got with mine was the MOT and V5, was going to delimit/ convert and do the KMS to MILES change as per the FAQ, but am concerned that the ODO will show the same amount of miles as it did kilometres.so how would I prove the KMS reading to you as I dont know if its genuine myself?

Skimming is like it says. If the head is slightly warped, or you want to increase the compression, you can, within tolerances set by the manufacturer, skim very small amounts off the mating surface of the head (being the surface of the head which meets the block). By very small amounts we are talking thousands of an inch in some cases (dont know about the supra). If you take more of than recommended, you run the risk of the piston striking the valves at higher revs. If you rebuild and find the pistons strike the valves at all revs, you used an angle grinder

I have been down in London (from Glasgow) for 20 years now, and have to say I love the place. Not sayings it's better than Glasgow or a few other cities I love (the Dam, Paris and Dublin to name a few) but it's a great place.
