Depends what width your rims are mate. I have got 8.5J x 18 fronts and 9.5J x 18 Rears and I use 235/40 R18 front and 265/35 R18 Rear. Hope this helps.

Well I have just got home, caravan is pitched and the awning is up. Some friends of ours are staying down there all week so they are looking after it for us. I have seen F1 before just not at the British GP so know what I am letting myself in for. I was at Silverstone last month for F1 testing, great day and good weather. We have all got Copse A Grandstand Seats for the weekend, cost us £260 each for the weekend. The camping has cost us £135 for a 6 berth caravan for the complete week, which I think is pretty good. We are smack opposite the track too. Camping should be £15 a night till Thursday then £25 a night after that, that is for 1 caravan/tent and a vehicle. Any extra vehicles that join you are £15 each. We got some good discount as we were one of the first people there, just a couple of Germans there this morning when we got there. We have saved £45 which will go towards the beer fund!! Hopefully we will be visiting the Redbull Entertainment area too whilst we are there for a few beers in the evenings with the staff and drivers, looking forward to that!!

Well this will be my first year actually going to the British F1 GP and I can't wait. We are camping there from Thursday till Sunday and should spend most of the time with a beer in my hand. We are taking the caravan down today to make sure we get a good pitch for camping and leaving it there all week. Is anyone else from the forum going down? If so are you camping and staying all weekend?

Just up now, off to Silverstone shortly with the caravan to get a good spot for camping ready for next weekends F1 Race. Leaving it down there and going back to it on Thursday. Bill Prawn, what do you actually do for Suzuki then ?

Thanks for the offer but the other half doesn't get in from work till around 6:10ish so think I might be pushing my luck for that meeting time Takes me about 15 mins to get to the A1 at Newark from where I live then it looks like a straight run up. Autoroute says its about a 60 mile trip so should take me just over the hour to get there, can someone save me a space please I have posted about this meet in the Midlands section on the forum too to see if anyone else fancies joining me for a cruise out, hopefully there might be a couple of us.

What time do you call early? I am hoping to take a run up from Nottingham, will be leaving around 6:20ish. Has anyone got the address of this place and a postcode so I can stike in the SatNav or can I meet up with someone that knows where they are going?

Looks like the Supra is going into my local Toyota dealership on Thursday for its Cambelt to be changed. Decided I can't be bothered with doing it, have enough with working on cars all day without doing after work too!!

Has anyone on here done there own cambelt on an NA Supra? How difficult was it and how long did it take? Is there anyone fairly local to me that people can recomend to change it for me if I don't fancy doing it?

Friendly bunch of folk on here mate, should get all the help you need. White is the best colour and the fastest but get it checked out really well before parting with your cash.

One of the Supra's I saw this weekend at RTTS.

That time of the month again folks. This months Bubble Inn meet is on June 11th. I am away at Silverstone for the weekend so won't be able to make it but thought I would start the thread so people know about it. Anyone planning on going this month ?

Not sure what the RTTS Camp site was like for this but the Show And Shine section in Newquay wasn't too bad at all. 3 cars from memory pumping out daft Bass all day ( Saxo, Fiesta, 205 ). The rest of the show was what I was expecting

Can imagine what you mean mate, I have stopped going to a few other shows because of the same reason. But this was my first time to Newquay and my first RTTS and really enjoyed both.

Can't overly fault you mate, the Aristo is looked lovely when it was on Ebay and its practicle and quicker!! Look foward to seeing in in the flesh some time.

Anyone been to RTTS this year from the forum? Know its not exactly a Supra thing but am sure there are some closet V'Dubber out there....... If so, what did you think to it this year? I have wanted to go for about 9 years now and finally made it this year. Really enjoyed it and am lookin forward to next years event. Saw a couple of Supra's down there, one was in the RTTS Show And Shine Comp, another one just visiting.

Laugh ALOT!!!!! Then just cruise away with nothing to prove............at the end of the day its a NOVA!!!! The driver is almost gaurenteed to be extremely jealous of you in your Supra and wishing they had one...........

I love my NA to bits, it looks sweet as and handles very well. What it lacks in power over other cars it definatly makes up for in handling Know what other people mean though, I get fed up of peolpe asking me if its a TT and when I say "no" they have a little laugh to them selves and make some comment about it 'not being a real Supra then' !!! All are mostly jealous tw@ts that can't affoed to drive such a nice car like a Supra, they drive round in there clapped out Punto's and Saxo's with a daft Jap style exhaust sticking 2 foot out the rear of the car and bass that high that every panel rattles to that quality sound they make!!!!! Know my NA is up for sale at the minute but if situations with money change then I will definatly be keeping it, nothing else out there for this money that I would buy! I would have to spend over £20k I think to get something else that I would be as happy with, and then I might hate it for costing me so much. NA's are great at the end of the day, they get the same respect out on the road as its big bro the TT does and have the same menacing road precence too!! I love my Supe :d

LOL This is very true Had this discussion several times before now on different forums with other cars I have had. For the roads and traffic that I spend most of my time in and the fact that my Supra is an NA not a big BHP TT these tyres are fine, and they don;t hurt the back pocket that much either!! If anyone is after tyres then give them a try, they have said they can get most makes and sizes so might be able to save some people some money.

I have usued ZZ1's before and never had any problems, personal preference really. Besides that it isn't about what I had fitted its about the fact that this place is alot cheaper than anywhere else around here and maybe cheaper than other places is the Uk. Just trying to help.

I have just been and had two new 265/35 ZR18 rear tyres fitted fairly local to me and they were the cheapest by far!! I work in the trade and the cheapest I could get rear tyres for was £92 +VAT each. This place has just done me 2 x Avon ZZ1 265/35 ZR 18 for £135 all in. He can deliver all over the Uk, around £10 a pair he said. Got lots of different makes and sizes available, give them a try if you are after a good price. Really not sure on price at the minute, the market is crap really but then again this ain't the usual rubbish found forsale. Not going to be the cheapest NA in the Uk forsale but deffinatly one of the best forsale at the minute.
