  1. Yes mate, meet is still happening. Look forward to seeing as many people there as possible, even if they don't come in there Supra's. I might not be in mine, depends on the weather leading upto the end of this month. I am planning on taking my Supra off the road over winter.
  2. I will leave that part of the story for people that were 'close by' when it happened!! I was at the front of the convoy and we realised that we had lost around 5 - 6 cars somewhere so those of us that were still together turned round and drove back. We finally found the rest of the convoy parked at the side of the road about 3 miles further back, all people and cars were fine in the convoy. They had just gained a Mondeo somehow!!!
  3. Well I think everyone that joined our convoy to Santa Pod this morning will agree that the day started rather eventfully!!!!! I fortunatly wasn't around to see what actually happen but I did get to see the end result of some rather adventurus driving performed by a Mondeo driver!! As for the show its self, well I personally enjoyed it and it was nice to put some names to faces so soon after joining the forum. Hope Ray had a good last run, this time with NOS that worked.
  4. Fingures crossed I have found me noise and have fixed it It would appear to of been the 4 front bolts on the front subframe that were loose. I have managed to turn them about 1.5 turns to get them to 110Nm, not sure what the correct setting is but it sempt about right for that size of bolt/nut.

    Roll Cage

Does anyone know where I can buy a rear roll cage for my Supra from or does anyone on here make them?
  6. I will check the subframe mounts when I am rebuilding on Saturday at work.
  7. I am using an Apexi Turbo Timer on my partners Pulsar GTi-R and it 'self times' to how long and how hard you have been driving. Now it worked fine until I removed the stock air box and replaced it with the Air intake kit. Now it is getting more air its calculations are outside of its range so id doesn't work anymore, I have to set it up manually for a set period of time all the time. The timer works by monitoring how long the ignition has been switched on for and the air/fuel ratio by monitoring the Oxygen sensor values.
  8. As has been mentioned above, I would start by getting your alternator and battery checked out. I have seen alternator regulator packs blow before and they can cause alsorts of funny stuff to happen. You also may of spiked a control unit or two by jumping the car. I have seen this done many a time. Also check you fuse boards, I have seen these melt before on other cars (never a Supra though) and they short themselves out and make things work when they shouldn't be. There is no easy suggestion of what is the main cause here I am affraid mate, its going to take abit of time to trace and fix.
  9. Feels heavier than pads. Are Supra's common for any suspension bushes wearing out?
  10. As the title says, I am getting a single clonk when I am reversing onto my driveway some nights. I pull up to the drive on full left hand lock and then switch to full right hand lock as I start to reverse back. As I reach full right I sometimes get a clonk from what sounds like the NSF. Any Ideas?? I also get the same sort of noise under very hard braking as the car comes to a stand-still.
  11. SLK350's are quick but not that quick!! I get to drive them most days and I would never of said it was as quick as a Well maintained Supra. The launch is all important though so if he had you at the start then you would always struggle to get back level unless you had got crazy amounts of power.
  12. Nevermind mate, look forward to seeing you at the next meet then instead
  13. I am lovin my Supe mate, still can't believe I have got one!!! Got a new front bumper and rear spoiler going on it this week ready for The Jap Show at Santa Pod next Sunday.
  14. You got any pics of it fitted for us then mate? Where did you buy it from, I am looking for a system for my NA at the min and think I am going to buy a Blitz but might change my mind yet.
  15. Welcome Gazza to the club With the pics of the Astra I know who you are, you work with a mate of mine, Ash, and I have spoken to you at MFN. Good luck with finding a car and if you want a second appinion and want me to go and look at some with you get my number from Ash and give me a call.
  16. The convoy from Leicester Forest East Services M1 should get to Santa Pod just after 7am.
  17. Can you get clear front indicators for the MkIV Supra from Toyota? If so, does anyone have the part number or can tell me what year/chassis code I need to order them for please?
  18. I have now posted two new threads. One is for a Convoy to Santa Pod and the other for a Notts Meet. Both are in the 'Gatherings and Events' Section. Cheers.
  19. Sounds like a nice place. Maybe good for an Xmas meet or first of the New Year!! Now I am gettin carried away with time!!
  20. Good response so far then, cheers Lets try this place first and maybe somewhere else another month. Keep your eyes open for future venue's guys.
  21. Right then. Trying to give people plenty of time to make it to this meet so that more people can turn up. How does the first Sunday in November sound, November 6th???? Know it seems like ages away but if the rest of this year is anything to go by, it will soon be here!! This way it give everyone chance to turn up and plan around the meet. I thought to meet around 1pm so it will give us a couple of hours daylight to look round the cars etc... The place I have found is as follows: Beefeater The Millers Barn The Phoenix Centre Millennium Way West Cinderhill Road Nottingham NG8 6AX http://www.beefeater.co.uk/textonly/showhouse.asp?house=53 It is 1 mile off J26 M1 towards Nottingham, nice flat large carpark and a decent pint too. Food I believe is Ok, typical Beefeater. I have never eaten there but have been told it is Ok. Open to any other sigestions, its just somewhere I have been to before for a car club meet.
  22. What time does the show start? What time do we need to be there for?

    TRD and Bomex

This is the Supe as it is now, just changing the number plate mount on the Bomex before I paint it and fit it. Just hope it all gets done in time for the Jap Show at Santa Pod
