  1. Just woke up to find the skies filled with good old British Liquid Sun Shine!!! GREAT!!! And there I was thinking we might have a dry day for the meet, oh well nevermind. Still coming out in the Supra, want to use it a few more times before it gets put in the garage ready for winter. Look forward to seeing everyone there later, lets hope it stops raining in time for us so we can look round the cars without getting too wet.
  2. If you can't make it in the Supra then just turn up, it makes no odds really. Although it would be good to see as many Supra's as possible. I too will have the missus in tow!!
  3. Like the title says: How often do you use your Surpa? Who uses there Supra everyday for work? Just wondering, I have been using mine every day since I bought and just about to park it up for the winter so it doesn't get salt of the roads everywhere and gives me plenty of time to change a few things
  4. Had all the boot trims and tool kit stuff out and it still does it. It isn't the boot rubber as I have treated that with a soft-top paste that cures stuff like that on our cars at work, and trust me we have some of the most picky customers in the world!!!!!!!!!!! (Mercedes Benz)
  5. I am starting to get fed-up with this noise I have. I herd it in my mates Supra too but since it was his and I didn't drive it much it didn't really bother me!! In dry weather I get a really loud creak/squeak from the rear end, once the car is wet it goes. I have treated the boot rubbers with a paste that we use at work for convertible roof squeaks and that has made no difference at all. Is it a comon noise and if so what the hell is it?????? How do I cure it???
  6. Well its looking like Sunday will be the last outing for my Supra so I am hoping for nice dry weather so we can enjoy the meet.
  7. Cheers Rob for posting this on the calender, I hadn't seen there was such a thing on this forum Here is the link to the calender so people can post there name if they are hoping to attend. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/calendar.php?do=getinfo&ea=attend&e=225

    Bomex Spoiler

Not everyone reads the Wanted sections on forums, this way more people will see what I am after. I have tried a couple of forums for MR2's but no look so far.
  9. All tyres pressures were fine, my Surpa doesn't do it nore have several others I have driven, just a couple have. Feels like a worn rear suspension bush to me?????
  10. I have decided after much thought to sell my GTi-R. I have owned the car since April this year and have loved it to bits, especially the looks I get when people realise its a bird driving!!! Haha Now the car is in good condition generally. The rear arches are starting to go rusty as they all do and most panels have marks on them. I was going to have it all painted but have decided I need the money for my house. It has got about 58k miles on the clock (shows 77k Km), it has had 4 previous owners. It has got MOT till March 2006, Its about out of Tax now I think. It came into the Uk in Feb 2001. It is running standard boost and has always done this as far as I know, I asked the previous owner when I bought it. It has got HKS Downpipe, HKS De-CAT pipe, HKS Metal Head Gasket, Mongoose Single box stainless Exhaust, KYB Lowered Suspension (spings and shocks), 16" OZ Super T Alloys with 2 new tyres and 2 half worn, Uprated Front Discs and Pads, HKS Irridium plugs, Air Intake Kit (still got standard air box with HKS Panel Filter), Forge Dump valve, Samco Coolant Hoses, Cusco Front strut Brace, Apexi Turbo Timer, Razo Gear Knob, Momo Steering Wheel and Boss, Clear Side Repeaters, Uprated Speakers in front, Accoustic Parcelshelf in rear with really good 6x9's and no Stereo. Now I was told by the previous owner that it had had an uprated clutched fitted before he bought it but I have no paper work to back this up so am unsure if it is true. The steering wheel and gear knob in the picture aren't what are fitted now. There is loads of paper work with the car that shows how much has been spent on it since it arrived in 2001. It drives perfect, really tight. Slight rattle from the dash but that is it really. I haven't been out in a better GTi-R yet and a few friends of mine own them and they all agree. It is in daily use and spends most of its time sat in traffic to and from work which is another reason for me selling it. I never get to drive it properly!! Which is ashame. It is being advertise else where at £4250 ono but would rather sell it to a member of here and know it is going to get treated right so please feel free to make any sensible offers on it. I miht be interested in a Px, but being female I don't know what I want next!!! Haha Please email my partner at [email protected] for any further info or to make an offer on the car. Cheers Sara
  11. I have driven a few Supra's now and a couple of them have pulled to the left under hard accelleration. When you back of the power they straighten up again. Anyone else had this? What causes it?

    Bomex MR2

I am after a Bomex Duck Tail spoiler for an MR2, genuine or non I don't care. I am also able to take a mould of one if anyone has one that I could do this with?
  16. Here are some pics that my missus took........
  17. Looks great mate, where did you get it from? It looks familiar.
  18. Also I am trying to organise a Notts/Midlands meet in November, if anyone fancies coming along? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=48276
  19. Think you will find the red Supra of SGreen is a lady driver by the name of Sharon, not a bloke mate. Very nice car and even better to see a lady driving it. I am in Notts and know the Woodcocks pub very well as I used to go to another car meeting there. Don't think we have got anything on on Sunday so will try and get over. Might get the missus to bring her Pulsar GTi-R along too.
  20. Well it will be good see as many poeple there as possible. Its only 4 weeks now and I think it will be the last time I use my Supra this year. Time to put it away and keep the nasty salt off of it.
  21. I am getting about 25 mpg out of my NA every week since I have had it. I haven't got the lightest right foot in the world either!!!! That is a mixture of town and open road driving. A full tank is doing me about 320 miles but has been known to do only 240!!
  22. Love the rims mate I have had loads of cars with white rims now and my Supra is no exception!!
  23. Can't believe this mate, really feel for you. I am further north but will still keep my eyes open for anything that might be related to your car. What make were the alloys? You got any pics of the rims as I feel they might be taken off and sold seperatly, this might help lead to the car.
