Thats not too bad then, I will have to decide nearer the time about taking the Supra. Might have my other Jap toy on the road by then so I will have to use that instead!! What time is Bubble Inn meet from and till ?

Sorry to sound thick but where is the Bubble Inn? I would be up for it if everyone else is? I will go with the majority on this one. Depending on how far away it is I might not be able to take my Supra though as I will be on my company trade plates for the meet. Can't be seen to abuse them or I won't be able to use them again and they come in handy at times!! haha

What oils do people recommend for my Supra NA? I am going to change the engine, gearbox and diff oil before I start to use it again but want to make sure I use the right stuff.

With the quick glance I got of it, it appreared to have standard bodywork/bumpers.

Sorry to here that mate, make sure you stay a member as once you have owned a Supra you will always need one in your life!!! They are a drug!! Very addictive. Good luck with the new venture

Here is what I did have on mine. Its sat in the garage now collecting dust since I fitted a Bomex front bumper.

Just had my quote back from Sky and they are nearly £50 more expensive than my currant insurer. Still might use them as Sky offer the same replacement parts fot the car not standard.

Elephant and Diamond have just started quoting for the SZ as I am phoning round for quotes at the minute for mine. With the car in my name and my missus a named driver Elephant are the cheapest at £595 FC with Sky at £636 FC. I only have 4 years NCB and my car has a few mods, all of which are listed.

Everyone tends to start turning up around 1pm ish and we are usually there for a few hours.

How much slack/play should there be in a diff??? I have been told a couple of times that there is usually quite abit in a Supra diff but want to try and make sure whilst the car is off the road incase I need to get it sorted.

Well at the beginning of November I took my Supra off of the road so I could renew a few parts and strip and clean a few others. I also thought it would be a good idea not to have it on the roads when they started to put the crapy salt down as my Supra has no underseal on it and don't want it to start rusting!! Now this was all fine until the garage started to be filled with a few bits from the house to make room for the Xmas tree and so on........... Could still get in the car to start it and move it back and forth so the brakes don't stick and the tyres aren't in the same place for 3 months. Then the week before Xmas came and what did we get delivered!!! A bloody kitchen:badidea: So not only do I now have my Supra surrounded by flat pack kitchen but also nearly to complete contents of the old kitchen too which now means I can't even open the door to start it, let alone move it!! Neadless to say I haven't managed to do a single job yet to the car and now the missus has added that she wants to move house in January as she has found a larger house that she wants and the seller needs to move quick due to family illness, so I am guessing nothing will get done to it now either!!! Not happy....

Doubt it will be finished but going to try and get trade plates for the day to bring it out on!! Really missing driving it now and its only been a month and a half so far.
