  1. Picked up a set of split rims from one of the members on here, however the centre caps could do with re-chroming. Does anyone have any experience of having re-chroming work done and if so can they recomend anyone. Rims I think may have previously been chromed but have been either sprayed or powder coated at some time - can these be rechromed or will i need to have them re powder coated?
  2. Im hopefully getting one of these too to try to fit in the next couple of weeks - any chance you coould take a couple of pics when you get this fitted to assist me - im sure that i will need it. cheers
  3. I also used a kit supplied by B.D Trims, its a cheaper option than Nic's coated one and depending if its abuse, i.e. how often you require to remove dash panels it most likely may not last as long. I had the same dilemma but price finally pushed me towards the stick on kit.
  4. Thanks, Thought about that, pics don't do if full justice - the painted panel matches the steel on the steering wheel, nearly matching the cars silver colour.
  5. Original Dash was more than a little scratched and honestly just looks too dated for me. Used a combination of applied C/F Dash kit and painted panels with some new parts as supplied by some of the traders on here - thanks guy's!! Question is what next?
  6. Looking to upgrade the standard speakers, however having just bought a new house thats requiring rather a lot to be spent on it i'm nearly skint. Therefore if anyone has upgraded their system and has redundant speakers better than stock spare, please let me know. Im looking for 6 1/2" (16cm) , 2 Way, 200w, components for the front with acitve crossovers and 6 1/2" (16cm) , 2 Way, 200w. Im not too clued up on Car Audio, but what Ive got at present is really starting to get on my T**S. Thanks.
  7. Dont know how much postage would be but im selling it for £100 including post costs - just looking to recover my costs.
  8. Not to worry - part of the learning curve I suppose!!! More annoyed at the fact that it really does seem to be a substantial bit of kit - not like some of the other exhausts that I have had on other cars in the past. Probs is that the existing system has two separate pipes entering the present back box, one of which has its joining plate only about 40-50mm from the back box itself. It was my intention to put this back box on for now and put the original back on when i come to sell it, thought it may sell better if the car appears to be as standard as possible (that's what I was looking for when I bought my own)-therefore I would rather not adjust the existing system.
  9. Ive just pm'd him with second dib's on it. Failing that i will put it back on for offers. Shouldn't be too much of a problem to shift as the things in a good condition and these boxes seem to get a good wright up.
  10. Paulmann- I bought this this week, however it does not fit my car as the back box is two pipe into one. If this will fit your you can have it for what i paid £100 inc p&p? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=57016
  11. Would have made this one however im off to St Lucia until the 13th Feb. Will happily make any future meet!!!
  12. If its still available i will gladly take it at that price. PM me if its is.
  13. I too would be interested in buying a set at a reasonable price.
  14. Got an aftermarket set of Rims (don't even know what they are), have searched through previous posts but cannot find an answer for these sizes, apologies if I've not searched hard enough. Advice on the correct pressure settings would be greatly appreciated. 265/40/17 - Rears 235/45/ - Fronts, surprisingly enough Find that they lose/drop pressure all round in a matter of weeks - is this normal? Cheers for the help in advance.
  15. I would love to be able to get Nic to have the Dash Prts costed, they are however out of my price range for now. The kits advertised by BD Trims is likey to be my preffered option at present, however their UK website seems no longer to be active and theres no sign of them selling on Ebay at present. Will try to call their office in the USA to see if they will ship to UK. Heckler, your's look great and similar to the effect that im after. BD trims do these in Simulated Carbon Fiber, Real Black Carbon Fiber and Real Silver Carbon Fiber Resolutions not to good on my monitor any idea which kit you used?
  16. I'm in the process of updating the interior of my Silver 93 NA and amongst other items im looking to do something with the dash - considered painting but don't have the time to remove the rubberised coating. Nic can get parts coated in a Carbon Fibre, however costs are too high for my budget at present!! Im hoping to get the Seats retrimmed later in this year in Black and Grey (hence lack of remaining budget) adding a Momo Millennium Sports Steering Wheel with grey colour through it Therefore im left looking at installing a trim kit, preferably looking at a carbon fibre effect - any advice on products available and achieved results would be appreciated, particularly any pictures of installed examples. There are a couple of companies who seem to sell kits that cover more than just the basic dash items, I'm mainly concerned that these will not stick well and lift in time and that the also may or may not fit precisely.
  17. probs not me, not been in Fife for a while!!!
  18. From Stirling too, mainly seen in Cumbernauld.
  19. Halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh right in the middle, neither up nor down!!! Yes cars still standard exept for a change to the wheels and lowered. And I have just changed the Jap Sec headlights to UK Glass - which has made all the difference to the looks at the front end.
  20. Hi guys and girls, I bought my supe a few months ago, as lazy as I am, ive finally thought it was about time i posted something on this site! i was looking for a mkiv supra for a while and eventually decided to go for a NA Aerotop - took me ages to find one, though I eventually picked one up that was being advertised by one of the members on here. Live in the Stirling (Central Scotland) Seen only 2 other Supe's around in the last few months around this area but im sure there's more!!!
