yep Dave's old supe You can tell him she's going good - had a new lick of paint a few days after picking her up, and a change of turbos more recently (the hybrids gave up the ghost , but I actually prefer the jspec replacements now fitted). Also a fan of the trial rear / greddy wing combo, and no immediate plans on changing that

good old Herne Bay... if you get a greddy spoiler we would have enough for a greddy meet

Does anyone know if it will be possible to rent a helmet at the pod? I don't own one, and may not be able to get hold of one before the event (unless there is somewhere nearby I can purchase one on the day). First time for me on the drag strip, and after some searching about on here, I see that it is a requirement if likely you'll be passing the line at over 100mph etc. Any advice appreciated!

cool - I always seem to miss the Supra's around here...except for a silver one (but the owner never say's hello!). Anyway back on topic...the turbos have gone now.

Right...turbo #1 finally gave way last month and pissed oil everywhere. Turbo #2 could be ok, but I have neither the time or the technical knowledge to check. I have now replaced with a good set of ceramics, so not interested in doing anything with these now... These are avaible to anyone who can pick-up from Herne Bay (south east Kent) this weekend. After that they will most likely be binned. Note: I believe these are/were hybrids, so might be useful to someone looking to rebuild. Will try and post some pics later, but camera seems to have gone the same way as turbo #1 at the moment

Yep that's the Greddy spoiler [in fact, the car pictured is my own car ] It sits lower (and rolls of the back of the tailgate a little) than stock...

No overheating issues here either. Depending on where (and at what time) you are going, you might find it difficult to maintain driving at those speeds anyway. From my experience, it has been short bursts of fun, followed by long bursts of traffic Still, if you carry out your basic pre checks (tyres, oil, water and brakes etc.) you shouldn't have any major problems. UK brakes help no end as well

Here for sale are my pre-facelift Jspec headlights. I have gone over the lenses with some PlasticX compound, and the 'yellowing' isn't that apparent to me (although the plastic is what I would consider dull compared to brand new/refurbished lenses). One thing to note is that there is a small area of filler on the underside of one headlight unit, which I am guessing was a fix for damaged/indentation of the black plastic casing (not visible once installed). Also, it looks like someone has previously given the chrome(?) rings a lick of silver paint. Sale is for headlight units only, and does not include wiring/bulbs/holders etc. £60 plus £16 delivery in the UK (separate boxes as pictured), or can be collected from Herne Bay (Kent).
