hmm - TRD diff is a plate type diff AFAIK. Could it be that it is one of these that has been put into a the casing?

I have also been digging around for info on diff/box variations for my 6-speed conversion. From what I understand, the diff you have would be fine (it is the smaller size casing?). Also, the effects of the different gear box/diff combinations can be checked here: gear ratio calculator

have you removed the speedo unit and checked the bulb hasn't blown (or just replace the bulb and see)??

it's there somewhere! I replaced mine a while back, but can't remember exactly where it is located. It's a small 5w one and only takes a few minutes to find and replace. Have another fish around, perhaps it just came loose

Well I have been on a hunt for an aerotop recently, and there's a couple currently advertised on eBay... eBay aerotop link Unfortunately this one came up as Cat D registered in June 2009 (mycarcheck.com), however this is not mentioned in the advertisment. No response from the seller (so far), but any interested parties may want to check this with them before placing any bids etc. for me, the hunt continues...

Yes new headlights from Nic were the 2nd job! Still has the Mania's fitted, but now on the lookout for something else.... Suspension is even higher (!) with UK springs and billsteins fitted, but it does mean that the exhaust doesn't scrape over speedbumps any more
