  13. hey Rich long time no speak Yup its a natural talent i have having looked at it a lot since getting home it turns out the oil filter has been blown off all the threads are gone so something major went tits up inside engine ^^ yeh 99% of the time im guilty like we all are sometimes of just the quick 5 min to the shop thing i use my supe as a daily workhorse bud- toolboxes jack etc all in boot and off i go to fix a car just had it off the road for couple of months and missed it to much so was gonna have some fun while its not raining for once
  14. so was a nice day sun shining thought stuff it ill put the supe on the road went for mot got failsheet just needed 2 tyres and reconnect fog light up again sweet i thought thats easy ill be back in an hour and itll be ready for retest taking car to workshop to sort it all out i decide to have a blast on the bypass just to remind me how much frun the old girl is to drive boot it past a little saxo keep booting it then BOOM............. oil everywhere stop had a look finally see oil filter lying on subframe ^^ god knows how that came off ? put it back on go get oil start up and she sounds sweet then pull away taking it easy and the bottom end gets noisier and noisier pull over literally 200 yards up the road and oil is pouring out the engine all over the road so i presume i put a rod thru side of block And to think i bought a supra after blowing 3 1jz engines in my soarer thinking it was gonna be a lot stronger engine ^^ car had only done 44k miles on import was never boosted etc totally stock except wheels and shocks serviced overmuch only run some 3k miles with it at .9 bar ^^ Ah well i suppose i will jsut have to find a block and go down the route of building an engine this time and if i blow a built engine im out the tuning my car game im just sick of ripping engines out and putting em in again
