  1. Think Sumo are/were lowering their prices as a good gesture because they were sponsors of the Jap Show Finals. Have a look at the website this week or in their own section for details.
  2. How clean is that!! Dont look like its ever left the factory! Nice one matey.
  3. Im definately looking into it. Spoke to Dave F about it last night at Ashford meet. Might need some brakes before I go!
  4. Congratulations mate. That car never fails to impress me, you'll really enjoy it.
  5. Congrats Chris. What happened to bring it back to life?
  6. Wow! Talk about transformation. Bet it took your breath away when you first saw it. Very very nice mate
  7. Its R. A. N. C. I. D. Really Abhorant Nasty C**ting Idiotic Design. And it wouldnt look good in any other colour either.
  8. Tried the Palace Hotel, and its all booked up mate. Going to a cousins wedding reception at the Old Hall Hotel. Would stay there but the rooms look a bit dated and the car parking situation is less than ideal apparently. Just checked out Ringwood Hall and I like it. Sounds like good value for money and pretty easy to get to. Bromy, is Buxton really that bad?

    Tyres

When first got the car I had Kumho's on the front and Bridgestones on the back, and it handled really badly and left me with a bit of a false impression of the car. Then got got rid of the Bridgestones (after a blow out at 60mph) and fitted Kumho's on the back to match front. Totally different car after that. Now running Eagle F1's.
  10. No steel on them Nic. No idea about what that baris made of Im afraid, as its all coated in glass fibre. Seibon arent very informative about the doors manufacture, and neither are their dealers from what Ive encountered.
  11. The Seibon doors do have a bar running the full length of them. Got them on my car. They are also heavily backed by lots of fibre glass which looks to be the only thing holding that bar in. So if I was to be hit side on then the bar probably wouldnt do anything anyway.
  12. Yep that side on picture is the clincher for me. Argos it is Thanks for finding that link by the way.
  13. Looked at the Halfords own batch (from £34.99 to (£59.99) and they all say if leaving the cover on for any lengthy amount of time it is best to dry the car to best of abilities. This is the one Burt has. Do you have any side on pics of the cover mate? Quite interested in this one myself. Possible Argos group buy??
  14. Happy B'day mate. I'll bring a candle along to the Ashford meet and you stick it in your burger! random smilie but I havent used it before.
  15. Just checked it out. Very nice example of what Im loking for. Shame its fully booked on the days I want
  16. Has anyone on here had any first hand experience or can soundly recommend a fairly posh hotel or b&b in the Buxton area of Derbyshire? Just want somewhere to stay a couple of nights where the supra will be off the road (that'll make a change then) and I wont worry about it, and that will be a bit posh-ish. Any help much appreciated people

    Hi I'm new

No worries mate, lots of nice examples to look at here
  18. Id say Top Secret front bumper and Abflug bonnet mate.
  19. Got my pass today Lui. Much appreciated, and thanks for organising this vent in advance if I dont catch up with you on the day
  20. Who knows. On the subject of drag, we buy all these different bodykits, are any of them actually tested for stuff like this I wonder
  21. Sounds like the sort of thing you get sent as a prank to find out if you are gullable enough to go and stand outside with your phone aimed at the car like a ray gun!

    Hi I'm new

Welcome to the club mate I take it by the username you have a fairly special vehicle in your possession?
  23. Now I dont know if this is true or a wind up, but, so Im told, if its a key fob lock then you can transmit the signal from a spare key fob down a mobile phone to unlock the car. I got it sent to me via email one day but never tried it.
  24. Exactly. They are only 'dummy' vents. Behind the mesh is a piece of black acrylic so no air actually goes into the pod and is stuck there if you see what I mean. Some ideas work (looks wise) and some dont. To be totally honest from some angles I dont like them, but Im fairly proud that I made them from scratch and they fit like a big brand might have made them. In the search for individuality you take some risks.
