My bad I just re-read the posts. However, the whole point of modding the car is that you are pushing the limits on parts. 1.2 bar of boost may still be in the efficiency of the tubbies but it still puts them and other parts under more strain. You can't go around blaming people for a collection of choices you made. No I don't mean you physically modding it but you are paying people to do work on your car then it's still you responsibility. Sorry Matt I don't mean to have a go at you but I see plenty of 'this trader is sh*te' threads and this is the first that made want to say something. It must be terrible to have an engine go and then the tubbies but you made your bed.....

Sorry but I find it hard to believe that you are trying to pin your cars engine plight on Chris. He would never say 1.4bar is safe and definitely can't break your engine with the parts he fitted (A YEAR AGO). If you don't know the engine and it's capabilities why are you modding it? Everyone has opinions and sometimes they are different ones. The thing you have to remember opinions have neither guarantees nor warrantees. Sorry mate but you have to live up to the fact that it’s your responsibility to maintain your car. If TF have done a dodgy swap then of course this whole post can be retracted And if Chris did reccomend 1.4bar then the next thing I will see is him driving round with 22" chrome wheels on his lowered Volvo!

Wilko you say you had a atmospheric dump valve on the car right? And you took it off? The question is did you put a stock recirculating dump valve back on in it's place? Or is it just blanked off? Sorry if this is already answered lol

As much as I love the mods on my car and some of the other Supra's on here I have got to say that my next Supra will be 100% stock! I have always loved tuning cars but here is one that I would not touch for love nor money. 15 years old and still my favorite car.
