  5. D8MOA I really dont know, I was hoping someone could throw an offer my way. How does £650 sound?? They are two peice alloys as far as i can see so I'm thinking they weren't cheap. Does anyone know what these might be worth??? Dont want to overprice them but obviously dont wanna lose out either. Just spent a fortune on new ones!!
  6. It is a shame RobSheffield and an expensive one at that. I have Uk spec rear brakes and at the moment Jap on the front. Really need to have the UKs on the front too so need some new alloys to accomodate After a few weeks of searching I've finally found some wheels i like.
  7. Hi all, MY Speedster Indy 500 18'' alloys are for sale with rubber. They are are dark gunmetal and have polished rims. Rears are 10'' with Bridgestone potenza GIII 275/35 (only about 1000miles tread left on these) which accomodate UK brakes. Fronts have Dunlop SP Sport 9000 245/40( good as new) but will not cover the Uk size brakes hence the sale for some nice new 19'' Rays. No curbing at all on any of these wheels and no damage either. Selling veilside side skirts in excellent condition, no damage and finished in gunmetal grey(looking for ridox kit) these will be available in about a month, when my car in in the bodyshop. Open to offers as I have no idea on value, and sale will go to the highest bidder(alloys available in about 2 weeks when i get my new ones). Thanks guys.

    Well looks like Eagle F1s are most highly recommended but sounds like the T1-Rs are a close second but with better durability..........hmmm i dont think i can go wrong with either by the sounds of it..........Thanks for the advice.

    Hi all, Just in the process of getting new alloys and tyres all round. Kind of decided on the alloys but any advice on tyres?? Is seems so far that two of the best are the goodyear eagle F1s and the Toyo T1r. Thanks guys, Ben.

  14. Thanks guys!! Got on the phone to Greg from turbofit and he said exactly the same........checked the pipes and the one running form the intercooler had popped off.....appreciate the rapid response........thankgod it was just that.
  15. Hi guys looking for some help here, just bought a supra TT j spec. driving along I accelerate in first off the lights..........hear a really loud metallic bang and all of a sudden my first turbo is making a really load wooshing noise!! im guessing the turbo has popped its cloggs!! any advice?
  16. Thanks for the interest guys.... Sorry i do have a boost guage and i meant bar........i meant the first turbo is boosting at o.5-o.6bar and the second at 0.7 bar. (not psi). the first turbo not pulling much especially in 1st gear when it seams non existent. In first gear the second turbo also seems to pull alot later in the rev range as i said above. This all means terrible off the line performance......going to whiffbitz today so hopefully they can check it out......... as far as i know and im almost certain it has both cats.
  17. Hi All, I'm a New Jspec TT owner and i'm getting to know my car......slowly. I dont seem to get much boost at all form the first turbo, maybe about 5-6 psi, and about 7.5psi from second turbo This is really evident when im accelerating from a stop in 1st gear. Car doesnt seem to accelerate much at all till about 5-6000rpm when the second turbo kicks in. Its less noticable in 2nd, 3rd forth etc but boost on first turbo never gets beyond 6psi. Is this usual and will second turbo always pull more than first?? Thanks guys
  18. Thanks Nic, i'll definately consider the uk spec brakes!! the second thread doesnt seem to work though. Before i make a decision id be interested to see what aftermarket big brake kits u have. I'll email you now......
  19. Hello guys, My pads need replacing on my Jspec TTm, as far as i know they are the smaller brakes. I'm ideally looking to replace the whole system with some nice lines,discs, pads a calipers.....what would u recommend. If this is too expensive then i'd consider just new uprated pads!! Any advice at all would be great. Thanx

    Guy's and gals, i've just bought a jspec TT and its my first turbo car.....I've got to admit the turbos make alot of noise. Should healthy turbos be making any noise at all?? Its a real pronounced hollow woosh not sure if I'd call it a whine
