    I really don't know - Sorry. My spring was replaced on an old one but not by me and I was told the top or spring went flying across the workshop

    I believe they spring is pretty strong so exercise caution.

    This is a great step! I wonder if it will have an effect on the manual conversion prices as will make the auto a much more drivable car. Look forward to seeing one in action.

    As already said the only proper fix is a respray to the panel. Dabbing some lacquer around the edge of the peeling lacquer is a good idea - It won't look pretty but it will slow the process and will not affect the cost of the future panel respray.

    Double They are horrible and should not be fitted to street cars IMO

    I would check for any vacuum leaks and clean the idle control valve. The temp sensor could well cause the issue - Can you go into more details as to when it does it? Start car - Does it do it straight away? Then, does it do it whilst the car is warming up but not when it is warmed up? The advise given about the ECU adjusting is true but that doesn't mean it is right that the car is hunting.

    It's a lot easier to kill DIFF's on a manual car - I destroyed a UK auto driving like….me I have run the car on a manual and a UK auto diff and I much prefer the auto. I plan to return the car to UK auto diff next year and have 1 in the garage ready (No its not for sale, sorry).

    Spend the money on a 6speed box. BPU is a great car. Once 6 speed you can then look to go single - which to do properly is bloody expensive.
