  1. Okay - cheers - may get back to you if I can't get a custom kit made up.
  2. Paul, can you sell them individually, or just the full kits (I'm after two sets of rear lines)?

    Am I the youngest?

    33 and I don't actually have a Supra. Did I win yet?
  4. If you can reproduce it, try pulling over and get out - the smell of hot clutch is unmistakable!
  5. Did you try this, Paul: SELECT table_one.ref, table_one.b_data, table_two.b_data FROM table table_one, table table_two WHERE table_one.ref = table_two.ref AND table_one.ref = '1' AND table_one.a_data = 'ITEM1' AND table_two.a_data = 'ITEM3'; ?
  6. Ah.... I see.... cheers, Graham!
  7. Just drop the CREATE TABLE line from my stuff before. Does that give you what you're after? Oh - if you want it for a specific reference, just add an AND clause like "AND table_one.ref = '' "
  8. I thought SELECT INTO was a non-standard thing?
  9. Disclaimer: This looks quite inefficient, and there's probably a better way of doing it that avoids the join, but I'm no DBA! CREATE TABLE test AS SELECT table_one.ref, table_one.first, table_two.third FROM table table_one, table table_two WHERE table_one.ref = table_two.ref AND table_one.name = 'first' AND table_two.name = 'third'; (or something like that?!)
  10. SELECT name, value FROM table WHERE ref='' AND (name='first' OR name='fourth');
  11. Yeah - I never claimed it was a legal argument - just a moral one.
  12. Fair play, mate - if you genuinely feel that your life has been impaired in such a way that is offset by the claim money then I don't have a problem. I just have issues with people who claim for more remuneration than they kniw they really need/deserve (which is why I was somewhat affronted by the TV comment, I'm sure you'll understand). Anyways - long-term neck/back injuries can be a real b*tch. Mine, unfortunately (being from playing American Football) are considered pretty much self-inflicted (by me included)! Hope yours improve soon, mate. Oh - and glad to hear you're feeling okay too, Salvatore!
  13. I don't think the complaint is against those who have genuine claims for injury/loss of earnings/etc. The problem is those who claim for injury, then spend the money on TVs rather than on the medical care that they supposedly need. Or those that put their feet up and claim loss of earnings when they are still 100% capable of working.
  14. Didn't think maybe paying for some physio would have been a better idea, then?
  15. As long as you don't allow snake shots, they kind of spoil the game. I prefer Rod Hockey to Foosball myself, too - similar to Foosball from a dexterity perspective, but a more tactical game.
  16. The new Audis are a good example of sports cars going diesel, turning out better performance stats than their petrol equivalents: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/209047/audi_r8.html. But......is diesel actually cheaper/easier/better ecologically that petrol anyhow? Or is it that diesels just look attractive because tax/mile is lower than petrol? Surely, if everyone starts buying diesel cars, then you can pretty mych guarantee diesel tax will go up to match, no?
  17. Vicki's dad keeps and breeds snakes (no poisonous stuff, tho!) - he has a shedful of the things in the back garden (and another shedful of mice being bred for food!). Vicki has many stories of the things getting loose and being found sometime later in various locations around the house! :o

    Speed of light

If I'm travelling at the speed of light, what happens when I turn the headlights on?
  19. one on my Aristo has gone, don't know if they're the same as the Supra ones, though......
  20. Yep - wouldn't trust a (fully comp?) £224 quote at all. Even the oldies with full NCB and an unmodified UK spec don't get far below £400 as far as I recall.
  21. Of course not! These times are based on a videocamera pointing at speedometer! How could you question the accuracy? btw - this site says book 0-60 was 6.9s for the N/A.

    Films of 2007

"for the win"? Granted, The Departed IS a good film, and although Crash is pretty good, Babel IS better.
