  1. Did it a couple of months ago when I got my calipers refurbed!
  2. Thanks Mclarenross for the offer and Nic for the info. I've now ordered a pair from HEL. Cheers.
  3. Cheers guys. Think I'll just do the front ones for now, HEL sell them in pairs for £40. I assume it's ok to have braided on the front and rubber on the back?
  4. Thanks Dunk. Trying to keep the costs down, don't want to pay to get all 4 swapped out at the moment if I can help it so just looking for 1 single rubber one really?!
  5. Hi all. I'm after an offside front brake flexi hose for a '94 NA. Anyone know where I can source one please? Thanks!
  6. My exhaust heatshield has kind of seen better days. Anyone recommend anywhere to get a new one or is it just a case of visiting a local exhaust place and seeing if they've got anything that will fit? Thanks guys.
  7. I got them in Nottingham from a place called Extra Grip on Triumph rd (0115 9790429). £428 fitted. 265/35/18 on the back and 235/40/18 on the front. I'd recommend them. The cheapest mobile fitters I saw was event-tyres.co.uk for £433 fitted. The cheapest place I could find them delivered unfitted was from Camskill for £362.
  8. Thanks for all the replies guys. I went for Falken 452s in the end. £430 fitted from a local tyre place someone recommended. Fitted in about 30 mins with no damage to the rims!
  9. Bit of a generalisation I know, but are mobile tyre fitters usually any good at replacing tyres without scratching the rims? My local garage are quite good at damaging rims though my local tyre fitters can change all 4 without putting a scratch on them. I put this down to them having a load of machinery to do this, plus a balancing machine etc, instead of just using a big screwdriver! The problem with the tyre fitters is you have to wait around for ages and would mean me taking a couple of hours off work. I've never used a mobile tyre fitter but I like the thought of not having to hang around for hours. I know every fitter will be different but generally can they do as good a job at fitting and balancing? I'm thinking about using event-tyres. Thanks guys.
  10. I know there's a lot of posts regarding o2 sensors. I've searched through them but haven't found much information about "before and after" figures for mpg and performance. My car's done about 120k miles and I'm assuming they've never been changed. If it only makes 1 or 2 mpg difference I'm not going to bother but if the difference is considerable I'm going to go for it. (I think I'd go for new ones rather than trying the lemon trick.) My car is a '94 n/a and does about 220 miles to a tank round town or about 310 on motorway runs at about 80mph. The acceleration is ok but could be better and I'm sure it was faster when I first bought it 3 yrs ago! What difference to mpg and performance have people noticed after changing their o2 sensors? Thanks guys.
  11. Thanks for all the advice guys. I like the sound of the Falkens at the mo. I've also had an offer of 4 part worn tyres from a friend of a friend who works at a tyre place. Continental contact sport 2s for the front (apparently almost no wear on them at all) and Avon ZZ3s on the rear (about 6 1/2 mm left), all fitted for £200. Mixing front and rears? Is this a BIG no no? Cheers again guys.
  12. My Supra's just failed it's MOT on 3 tyres so I thought now's the time to get rid of the dodgy Nankangs that I got with a set of wheels I bought second hand and go for something better. The wheels are 18" Hijoin Dynamics and at the moment they are running Nankang Ultra Sport NS IIs (235/40ZR18 91W on front and 265/35/ZR18 93W on the rear). The car is a jspec 94' NA. I want something that won't wear out in 5000 miles but also that's good in the wet as the Nankangs are terrible. Reading on here a lot of people seem to recommend Goodyear Eagle F1s, Falken 451s/452s and Toyo T1Rs. Anyone got any advice about those 3 or any other tyre please including cheapest place to get them from? Any advice is appreciated! Many thanks, Top
  13. Hi - I'm after a drivers side jap plastic (non facelift) headlight, can you get those please?
