Tis not true, the bonnet scoop is not cosmetic. According to Mr T the bonnet scoop helps to lower the turbo temp on long journys which gives you better fuel ecconmy. Aboslute rubbish if you ask me.

Try fitting a 4" block of wood under the noisy pedal, should solve the problem.

I have the 4" HKS racing titanuim on mine, sounds great but it is very loud! Did save 23kg over the OME.
