  1. Ok I will be putting my Full uk engine and manual gearbox into my Aero soon but before I crashed my UK spec car I had a few problems. I have just removed both cats and have the 4" HKS titanuim racing exhaust but in 3 gear when pulling hard it cuts out and the warning light flashes at me for a few seconds. I was told to fit a FCD which I bought but never got the chance to fit, will the FCD fix the problem?? Or do I need to do other things as well? Brad

    The Project

Well I have now got my car back from the salvage yard, after crashing it nearly 4 months ago. All I have to do know is Remove the engine, gear box, interia, complete wireing loom and the rear diff! But I am still on the lookout for an Aero NA supra, if anyone knows of one for sale. I will be taking pic's throughout this little project and will try to keep you all upto date. Hope to see you at some of the meets again soon! Brad
  3. Put me down for a set!! They look really good. What else can you make?
  4. Does anyone know a good way to remove a set of standard fit UK spec locking wheelnuts? I did have the key but when my car came back from the salvage yard it was missing. Thanks Brad
  5. OK I am just about to buy a na aero and fit my uk tt manual engine and gearbox into it. I do have a complete car as a donor (my poor bent uk turbo). I am fairly sure the shells are the same and I will be using the entire loom and running gear from my old car as well!
  6. That look like it is onlt the first dacat pipe, there are 2 on a uk car!
  7. Hello again, I have finaly got what was left of my car back and agreed asettlement from the insurace company. I am looking for a Non-Turbo Aero to fit my UK TT manual bit onto. If anyone has one for sale or knows of one please let me know. Brad P.S. It would be handy if it had wheels big enough to go over my uk spec brakes!
  8. How much with the wheels?? Where abouts in the uk are you? Brad
  9. I was going up the IDr in reading and the road was under 4" of water, so I decided it would be a good idea to aquaplane into a wall!
  10. But the heart and soul of this uk will live on in an aero!!! TT Manual Aero sould be fun in the summer, what does everyone think of having it painted Lime green? Brad
  11. Yes it was a UK spec manual and yes I will be putting all the good bits onto an aero!!!
  12. I made a mess of my poor car!! Never mind this means I have all the bits needed for a manual TT aero!! Brad
  13. Well the bonnet is in one bit but kinda U shaped now! Sorry! The bonnet vent is good though!
  14. I am looking to buy an aero supra does not have to be TT as I will be using my recently banana shaped UK TT Manual as a donor car! Yes I am going to use the engine gearbox, and all the interia! Thanks Brad
  15. Who was it driving the silver TT with an after market rear spoiler, spotted going past Asda in lower early reading. Last night at about 21:30

See you there Brad
  17. Ok I know I should have expected it but, I have just decatted my uk spec manual supra and was out in the wet for the first time at the weekend! It is amazing how differant the car is to drive now and the second turbo really holds you in your seat. Anyway I was a little worried to find out that my car now has the ability to spin the rear wheels just by coming onto boost, even worse was when it did it in 4th gear on the bypass!! Needless to say my passanger was slightly concerned as well!!!! Cant wait to get the boost controller fitted!
  18. Ok well I have had a mk2 gte (cosworth engine) which was ok, but not good. Strange thing really, it was nippy in a straight line but didnt like the bendy bits! Had an Impreza as well but now I have my Supra and havnt looked back! Although I do seem to look through the side windows from time to time especialy in the wet!
  19. Nice looking car! painwork looks amazing has it had a respray? And Black is def the best colour. New wheels will trasform the look without chainging anything else. Be carful if you are going to fit the rear spats without having side skirts and front bumper coz it will look really weird! it gives the car an unbalanced look!

    New Gearbox

I changed the oil in my gear box last night and needless to say the stuff that came out was not what was ment to be in there, but anyway I drained it all out fill it up with nice red Mr T gearbox oil. I was not expecting to feel any differance as it seemed fine before but WOW it feels like a new gearbox, sliding in and out of gear sooooooo much better than befere. I would highly recomend changing your gearbox oil if you havnt already! Brad
  21. Well sort of but it does relate to buying stuff and it is always good to know what people are like before you buy from them.
  22. Just thought I would put a little summit on here to say a big thank you to Nic for helping me out with my DVD player! He does a fantastic job of helping us Uk based mortals to get our Supra's looking and sounding the way they should, in fact I would recomend that some so called tuning companys contact him for a few ideas on customer service! Thanks for all you help Nic. P.S. Watch this space for Pic of a Kenwood double din DVD player fitted.
  23. What you have to do is remove the trim pannel fron the inside of the boot lid(no screws just pull CARFLLY) then you will see 2 10mm bolts which you need to undo most of the way and take note they are long, this will release the clamp and enable you to remove the light. But it is a bit fiddly. Brad
