  1. Please help I can't find anyone to re-chrome my alloys! All I get told is "sorry it's a specialist thing" I would prefer someone close to Leeds but don't mind if I have to travel... Any helps a gesture

  3. Hi I just finished doin a refurb on one of my front lights. Had to take the rubber seals off. Point 1, I used silicone sealer to put lights back together, is this ok or should it have used windscreen sealer instead?? Point 2, Which glue (name please) can I use to re-stick the 3 rubber seals around the lights??

  8. I need help, my loving girlfriend put £7.50 diesel in the TT and then realised what she was doing. She phoned me and I told her to fill up on optimax. £53 of optimax went in and since I've done a 50 mile run. Car has been parked for 2 days now and it wont start??????? what can I do:who:

    I bought my tt from southampton and drove to leeds on £40! On the other hand I've done 30 miles on £20...So it all boils down to how heavy your foot is. Install a boost gauge so that you can keep an eye on your turbo engagement. Less turbo = more fuel economy & more turbo = less fuel economy.
  10. I have the restrictor ring in also. I do get the hit the brick wall effect. I'm searching for VSV's and then Ill fit a HKS FCD chip. I want to raise boost to 17psi with an EBC??
  11. Hi sorry for the late reply. It's a Jap spec. I must admit it does go over 14psi as the fcd kicks in. Im thinking of installing an Apexi Avcr to make sure I don't overboost??? Both cats are out for sure. Once I have solved the present problem I'll have to have a FCD fitted and then possibly the EBC. Not sure where the best place to buy VSV's is?? any ideas guys? dealers maybe too expensive....

  13. I have a mark iv 1995 tt. Since i bought the car i have had different boost readings when the car has just warmed up and into 15 minutes of driving. It has a K&N induction kit and total decat stainless steel exhaust. I have fitted a FMIC and changed practically all of the thin vacuum pipes. The pressure reading when engines just warms up is 14psi and then it drops to around 10psi after 15 minutes or so!! then it remains low until the engine has gone cold again
