    Windscreen crack

Hi Ken, I had the same last year....same query over part numbers and colours, the first screen Autoglass came with was wrong...In the end, Autoglass dealt with Toyota direct, just quoting the chassis number and paint code. AFAIR late-model supes with no sun-strip have only one screen option. I'd ring Toyota to be sure. Also, previous threads stress the importance of demanding the glass replacement company uses the genuine Toyota strips / spacers etc. Again, Autoglass got mine direct from Toyota.
  5. "Sure, and while I'm at it, why don't you go climb that telephone pole and take a big steamy piss on the power lines! Look, I'm not here to twist your niblets. I'm here to save your life. But to do that, I'm going to need complete uninanonomonitity"

    help for a yank

you own a Supra, and a very nice one too...everything else is incidental, or 'tosh and piffle' to use another slang term often heard in the clubs and pubs down here on a Saturday night.

    help for a yank

ok, that one was'nt true. Oh, and I've had an objection noted about people from Essex having a high IQ....I'll leave you to make your own mind up on that one.

    help for a yank

Hers a few that may help. 'mingin'...a term of endearment for attractive females, especially Royalty such as Camilla. 'am I bothered ?'....useful in conversations where you are totally absorbed in the topic 'chav'....a word we use for those who have exquisite taste in fashion and cars. 'a bit essex'....used to describe someone with an extremely high IQ. 'cork-head'....a member of a recently discovered colony of three-eyed stoat molestors living on a small island south of Bournemouth.

    Freaky Food

With a needle and thread and a great deal of old enough to know better, I once sliced a collegues banana whilst it was still unpeeled and he was out of the office. The look on his face when he peeled it to find it was neatly sliced was impressive.
  10. Dearest, you are half the man I married all those years ago. Darling, you are TWICE the woman I married all those years ago:d
  11. now that is a completely mahoosive can of worms
  12. Yes, that came up somewhere between the 'can we talk' bit and the 'crashing of dinner plates' finale. That was expertly deflected with the classic 'I cant talk to you because you are always on that bloody forum' retort.
  13. Assuming thats for me..... Its spookier than that. She has a part-time job which her husband was dead against to start with aparently as he considers himself the breadwinner. She took up the job to supplement her allowance and to 'give herself something to do when the kids were at school and she'd done all the housework'. Her allowance didnt cover things like meals out and treats for the kids (like PS2 games ffs) so the extra income covers that. If her car (a birthday present from hubby, so she can take the kids to school) needs work doing on it, he lends her the money and she pays him back when she can.
  14. We had a massive argument about it. I came in from the direction of family finance, son about to go to Uni / holiday looming / balancing the outgoings against a regular known income and it all going tits up.....she hit back with how mundane her job was and how she felt she was getting toward older age with nowt meaninful under her belt. Her dream of becoming a movie director may also improve the family finances eventually too. Put like that, I felt a right t**t for even bringing the subject up:d
  15. Probably re-posting myself, but... One day my wife decided she had had enough of going to work. So she quit her job and enrolled at Bournemouth Uni for a Media course. I did'nt find until a couple of months later when I rang her works number to ask her a question...the lady on the phone said 'Janet ?, no, I'm afraid shes left' When I said that 2.30 was a bit early for her to leave, the lady laughed and said 'no, she left several weeks ago'. Does that imply my wife was afraid of my reaction to her wish to give up work, or does it mean she is her own person and felt secure enough in our relationship to do whatever the hell she feels like. This is a deep meaningful question I pondered over for at least 30 seconds.
  16. About the spanking bit yes. About my dominant friend and his subservient wife, no. I remember one time the wife had to cancel a meal out with us because she had'nt saved enough from her allowance to pay for her meal.
  17. Well, yes in this instance. This woman is really nice...friendly, intelligent and a great sense of humour. Her husband (someone I've known for at least 12 years) is one of the nicest people you could meet too. I assume she is happy with her lot, as she is good friends with my wife and there has been no hint of unrest or mis-treatment. What seems so normal to her is rather unpleasant to Jane and I...she has no social life of her own, other than the odd visit to female friends, and she seems to exist solely to make him happy and look to his needs. Neither of them seem to think this is unusual.

    Cajun Supra

Hello and welcome O Southern States type one:) Any pics of your Supra ?
  19. I was talking about someone else, pointing out how alien I personally thought their relationship was compared to my wife and I. Spanking on the other hand is something I both agree with and enjoy on a regular basis. I'm deliberately naughty most friday nights as it happens.
