Sounds like a bit of crazing...I've got the same after a small tap in our car-park. If it is, the laquers cracked and polishing-out may help but in my case it didnt do much and the crazing still shows from some angles / light direction.

Just hit 30,000 miles today. 25,500 of them mine. Other than this bloody TPS problem (nope, Tritons 'fix' didnt last) I'm loving it. Just thought I'd share that with you.

Can't argue with a 16 year old. A 16 year old with a bit of cash and a lot of enthusiasm is a formidable force. The words 'wait 'till you are older' dont mean anything at that age. We all know the end result, but a lot of fun will be had in the meantime.

Theres a Tamiya plastic Supra kit still available...standard car, standard wheels etc, at 1/24th. £15. http://www.pier-models.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000009.pl These guys do it, and Ive found it in other on-line places.

Just read that Airfix have gone into receivership:( My love of planes (and tanks and ships and trains and on and on) grew up with Airfix, the sheer delight in building a model of something I'd seen for real was so much of my childhood and still is to some extent. Good to see something from those days saved for the next generation, sad to see something just as nostalgic going down.
