When it comes to a boats performance, one of the biggest enemies is weight. Dumping untreated dumps and wee-wee overboard is a no-no these days, so its carried around on board. Why throw more weight away on the thing you dump into...CF toilets for the lighter shite.

Realistically, Id be happy if he gets a job even remotely connected to the automotive industry. The competition is enormous...the high flying successes are rare. Designing Lego or Action Man toys quite often becomes the 'revised employment prospects' for top grade degree earners that the car design industry passes over. Hes keen, and hes got my full confidence, but hes just started a four year lottery.

Taking him and his worldly possessions up to Coventry on Saturday. Thats both of them fledged and orf. There will be a great big void in our lives now...no DVDs, no lap-top, no wires and cables looking like an explosion in a spagghetti factory around the AV stand. No help around the house and garden...no change there then:) Not sure how to take this, wisecrackin aint cutting it, its going to be strange not having the wee yin around.
