Gives me great pleasure in apologising to SatNav for doubting him and for acting smart in my earlier posts. This 'silent' boat intrigued me and after a bit of digging I can confirm that there are indeed some special craft that make very little noise at full power. Massive restrictions in exhaust systems and very clever sound insulation combined with jet drives seem to work the magic. I take it all back Mr. SatNav.

XBox 360...can output 'HD' signals. Looks like you can buy an XBox 360 bundled with a HD-DVD player from Christmas too.

Not exactly on topic, but a 360 plugged in through component input and switched to HD output gives a fair impression of how things sharpen up.

Have you looked into the BBC HD Preview thingy ? Not sure whats involved though. For what its worth, I got a good demo at the shop I bought my HD ready plasma from...they swapped between terrestrial / Sky / HD signals and I was very impressed.

Hi Richard...I've put my faith (and BPU budget) into a new throttle body assy. So far so good. If car behaves, I'm up for meets further afield no probs. Havent been able to enjoy it / trust longer journeys for ages.

From a 30k miler, 1998 TT VVTI Tiptronic. Complete throttle body assembly, as per Toyota part number 22210 I believe, complete with throttle position sensor and actual pedal position sensor. NOTE...throttle position sensor is only a year old, BUT may well be incorrectly calibrated. Also, its possible that the actual pedal position sensor is faulty. An expensive bit of kit if bought new (£700 ish). If you need one of these, or the sensors included on it, please PM me.

I'm sure I read of a Doctor who gave his wife a 'Dirty Robitussin' during her time of the month...she died (cant remember how exactly, but summat to do with oxygen entering the blood stream) and he was subsequently accused of murder as he had been witnessed reading up on this beforehand. ???
