  1. well done for a brave post. Just a thought, but isnt this actually illegal as it protrudes outside of the bodywork ?
  2. I kind of thought youd be in there straight off Rob. I'll post up some more when I get a chance.
  3. Couldnt log on earlier, but am now. Burna and Digsy are correct. I'm impressed on so many levels:d
  4. No, that wouldnt explain the smaller square outline within the larger one.
  5. The challenge is to draw what the end (or side) view would look like, given the front view, plan view and being told its a solid 3-d object, with no holes or recesses. BTW:) this isnt a wind up, its a question we include in our interviewee aptitude tests. If it spurs you all on, only one in ten of em get it right.
  6. Encosed drawing shows the front and plan views of an object, the challenge is to draw the end view. All the lines shown on the drawing are the edges of a solid, and three dimensional object. There are no hidden lines (so no holes or recesses).
  7. Theres a young guy in our office who spent hours on this at home.........hes not happy. The funny thing is he spent ages on the Odd One Out (xx doesnt come with rice) I did a while back too and swore never to take me seriously again...wonder if I can get him for a hat-trick.
  8. Heres another one, based in Poole Dorset http://www.bluegee.co.uk/

  11. I promise to never, ever, post a riddle again:d
  12. All that typing too......oh well, at least I got a few in the office.
  13. Paul returned home to his parents after nine months abroad. His parents threw a welcome home party and had invited loads of family and the neighbours too. There wasnt much food in so Paul and his dad suggested going down the local chinese takeaway. Great idea they all said, and Paul started taking down the orders, but as there were so many people, he abreviated the description of what they wanted. So 'sweet and sour king prawn balls with egg fried rice' became 'SSKP+EFG' and so on. The final list was as follows... 6-CS+SFR 2xSSKP+EFR 4+CC+P of C 3xSCS+R So off down the takeaway, Paul handed the list over to the chap serving. The chap studied the list, glanced slyly at Paul and said ' You are in the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, arnt you ?' He was right of course, but how did he know ?
  14. Ive edited my post Rob....same method, just minus instead of plus
  15. You have circle A and circle B You want to draw an arc C thats tangental to circles A and B. For internal arcs....... 1/ Decide the radius of arc C. 2/ Draw an arc from the centre of circle A, with a radius that is rad of arc C plus rad of circle A.. 3/ Draw an arc from the centre of circle B, with a radius that is rad of arc C plus rad of circle B. For external arcs... 2a/ Draw an arc from the centre of circle A, with a radius that is rad of arc C minus rad of circle A. 3a/ Draw an arc from the centre of circle B, with a radius that is rad of arc C minus rad of circle B. 4/ The intersection of these two arcs is the centre of arc C. 5/ Draw arc C with pre-defined radius and it will be tangential to both circles A and B. The exact tangent point can be found by drawing lines from the centre of arc C, through the centres of circles A and B.
  16. Theres loads of em...heres one http://www.deadpoolgame.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3 We play a variation at work called Departure Lounge, we have to guess whos going to resign next.

  18. Ewen

    Huge burnout

    He still going ?
  19. I most surfactantly am Charlotte. They were only fulfilling a biological need. Although they were married, it didnt detergentleman callers from being bold as brass, up the stairs like a flash, tide to the bed and given ariel good tumble. Persily I was to shy to try....those were the daz.
  20. Omo...washing powder sold up to the late eighties. Fishermans wives who were feeling lonely and randy in Eyemouth used to put packets of OMO in their kitchen windowsills when their hubbies were at sea...a code for 'on my own' I think SURF stood for 'showered, undressed and ready to f**k'.
