Sad, maybe, but I love blatting around in Tiptronic mode even when I dont need to, just to hear the Nur exhaust as I change down the gears. Shame I can only do it twice each time:)

Few posts recently on dents / dints / dinks depending on regional language. Ive had some quotes recently from Chipsaway and Smartwizard. Small dint on bonnet (paint ok) £20 Small dint on roof just above passenger door (paint ok) £80 due to having to remove headlining. Small dint on rear quarter (paint chipped) £70 / £80 to fill / fair / spray. As long as they can get to the panels from behind, they were talking an hour a dint. Plus trim removal time.

Exciting stuff. I really wish I had the balls / space to even contemplate a project like this. My brother started an E-Type project years ago (body shell came from the sand by the side of a road in Saudi) but just couldnt get it anywhere near finished. Hes still got the engine and a few bits and bobs...if you like, I could ask him whats left and what spec it was......

This post has shocked me. I've never till now realised how cheap Supra plugs could be. Whenever Ive scanned posts containing refs to plugs Ive always assumed the £11 / £18 bandied around was cost of one plug, not six....after all, considering the cost I've been charged for a new set of plugs for the last six years of MkIV ownership (ignorance on my part) I'd not made the connection between Supras and £2 plugs.

I fulfilled the need to put a naked woman with her legs open and surrounded by large penises onto a Snowflake. It has helped purge my current sexual frustration, by linking a symbol commonly associated with Christmas with the fact that I too, only come once a year.

Radar picked up the first path-finders around 18.00 hrs last night. We taped up the windows and I stood outside next to the Supra with a tennis racquet in true home guard stylee. Pond took a direct hit, but Supra did a 'St. Pauls' and survived whilst all around it was devastation. Intelligence reports warn us of another wave coming over tonight.
