  1. cool, so the kit including the delivery is around $1200 (looks like it includes an intercooler) will this need replacing or will it be sufficient to start with? Any ideas on how much import tax the kit will attract at customs? Sorry about all the questions, I'v got a TT and also a broken Na, Got the car with a mechanic friend and he is dropping a TT engine and loom in, was thinking of applying the Single turbo kit straight away.

  3. ahhh, thanks, is it worth getting the kit and then upgrading the turbo? if so which would you recomment?how much?
  4. the single turbo kits are priced at 1k, hows this, fair enough they dont have Blitz or HKS enscribed on them, but what woul be the main difference? Will they cause problems at a later date? can someone shed some light?
  5. its pretty much the kit i would have gone for, except i fancied the Top secret front chopped and filled a little. then a full matt or satin black respray. Just on ebay now figuring how much i can get for my kidney?!

  7. Hi y'all, looking to throw on some lowering springs just to drop it around 30-35mm, i'v got 275,35,18 potenza's on the rear and was wondering if anyone knew if i would have to roll the arches?

Ok, I am currently driving a TT and also have a broken N/a (Bottom end) In speaking with a few people and finding a couple of local garages to take on the job, i am going to have a TT lump dropped in it. as i feel dropping an N/a lump back in it wont help the value and i also have a friend interested, if i go ahead with the TT engine. Here's where you guys fit in. I need ur expertise and knowledge and maybe any parts you may be selling for it to go smoothly. Firstly im sourcing just the lump and Loom, no turbos, SMIC,mainifold, ecu etc as iam going to get a single turbo kit which includes manifold,wastegate, downpipe, FMIC. Going to go for stand alone obviously and uprated fule pump, filter, Can you help me put together a list of what i require (minimum) and additional things that would be ideal but not essential. Its a 5 spd manual, K reg. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. can they be sprayed with standard aeorosil paint or do they need to be heat resistant, i know it gets pretty hot in the engine bay?
  11. I have a Broken N/A I cant decide whether to sell it broken and count my losses or should I have a new low mileage engine fitted that comes with 3 months warantee an sell it fixed? What would be required if someone was to fit a TT engine:d ?! I have a TT so have no intension of keeping it, what do you reckon?
  12. I got my GZ TT 2 weeks ago and have begun doing the usual mods. I have bought a HKS Seq dump valve off ebay and it only came with a universal adapter so i got a friend welding it to a piece of ally. I was wondering if anyone had pictures and explanation of where to fit it (Vacum hoses nd stuff) Also bought a Greddy EO1 Boost controller,again on ebay and it has come with no fitting and user instructions,does anyone else have one that could mail me a copy? Many thanx
  13. quick question,how realistic is it to replace a broken N/A engine with a TT engine,obviously wont be doing it myself but what would be needed to make it possible,if it is possible?

Ok,to cut a long story short my N/A soop aint happy,infact its terminal, Im happy with the body work,wheels,etc but i really want to drop a TT lump in there,iv sourced one out at a good price and was wondering how realistic is the installation? Wont be doing it myself of but with reguards to all the auxillaries,looms gearbox etc.As mine is the 5 speed manual.will i miss out on having the LSD? Any thoughts,opinions?
