  1. Ok, I'll take it please Tony at £50 delivered. PM me the payment details and we'll take it from there. Steve.
  2. Whenever we're all ready to order (and hand over the deposit), then so am I. Are you ok with PayPal Chris? I would have thought it would cost you just over £25 in PayPal fees on the total amount - unless you have a business account - perhaps the fees for one of these are less? If it would be cheaper at all for me if I paid by BT, then fine, I can do BT; otherwise I do get 1% cashback on my CC when I use PayPal.
  3. Yes, I'm fine with a non-refundable deposit of £250 - although the deposit amount you mentioned to me via e-mail (and I mentioned the same figure at the beginning of the thread), was £200. I hope that doesn't cause problems for anyone?
  4. Well, a new CW SMIC would be a nice start towards an NA - TT conversion. When you say "STRICTLY none refundable", I take it that doesn't include the situation where the order for the SMIC's cannot be fulfilled for whatever reason? I assume you just don't want people placing an order, and then trying to back out after the order has been submitted to your manufacturers. Is there a particular level of order that would incite them to work faster... and also reduce the price? (not that I'm expecting a sudden influx of names on the list)
  5. I really don't mind when the order goes in; sometime next month is fine with me.
  6. No problem with me either way. I assume we need one other to make up the four? 1. SteveC 2. Jsy_Guy 3. avernaz 4. 5.
  7. There's a thread here that mentions using the CW SMIC with some fairly hefty BHP. I was quoted £800 for a OEM SMIC from a local Toyota dealer. That price included a bit of discount - but that was without any haggling from me! I'm pretty sure I could have got that price down by a good few quid. I think Toyota's standard book price for a SMIC is around £1000.
  8. Yes I believe that they can sucessfully be fixed. I did mine (all four) a good few months ago. Some of the pistons were fairly seized up and a little difficult to get out, but I did get them out, put new pistons in with a new set of seals and they now work brilliantly - plus, with a couple coats of caliper paint and some Supra stickers, they now look good too. On mine all the corrosion was on the old pistons themselves, so I've no reason at all to believe that they shouldn't last for a good few years at least.
  9. There you are Mike, a number 4 waiting for you to put your name against it! 1. SteveC 2. Jsy_Guy 3. avernaz 4. 5. Go on, you know you want to...
  10. Buckle, buckle... it can only bring the price down for all concerned. I just wish I'd ordered one a year or two back.
  11. Over! Hopefully not too much over!! Seriously though, if anyone is thinking about one of these then I'd just bear in mind two things: 1. There's always the possibility that they may not be available again - due to suppliers, insufficient interest, or possibly Chris just not wanting to bother again. 2. It is extremely unlikely they'll get any cheaper - unless there's a crash in the value of the Euro! From March '03 until June '08 they've steadily increased in price from £520 up to £680. Give it some serious thought... and this is well worth a read if you're thinking a FMIC is always the best option.

I've got a set on my car and I'm very pleased with them - so far. I put them on around four months ago and they still look good - apart from wanting a good wash. I went for the Avon tyre option, which seem ok. I bought them from the same company as in the link. The company was ok apart from comms being very slow at times. One wheel arrived with a small dent in it and most of the wheel weights started to fall off, but they replaced the wheel and paid for all the wheels to be re-balanced - so the outcome was good. The weight of the wheels was only slightly heavier than the OE 17" wheels that they replaced. The build quality seems pretty good to me - although I'm no wheel expert. I'll keep a good look-out for corrosion though...
  14. I assume it's still for sale going off the above posts... I'll offer the full asking price - £65.
  15. I don't think there is latest date really. I'm not in a desperate rush and Jsy_Guy would like to leave it until the end of the month anyway. This month, next month - I don't mind. We need at least one more on the list for Chris to get a price - any more than 3 and it may well bring the price down a bit further.
  16. I'm not so sure it's going to be the end of March at this rate! 1. SteveC 2. Jsy_Guy 3. 4. 5.
  17. Looks like it could be the start of a list then... and I'd be prepared to put down a non-refundable £200 deposit if, as you say, 'the price is right'. 1. SteveC 2. 3. 4. 5.
  18. I e-mailed Chris around three weeks ago regarding one of his SMICs, and he said he would really need an order for three or more. It sounded as though there may be a remote possibility of ordering a one-off, but it would be around £800. I'll stick an 'interest thread' in the Supra Chat forum.
  19. I contacted Chris a few weeks ago and he said that he would really need at least three people interested who were prepared to put down a £200 deposit. He didn't give me a multi-order price at the time. I guess the more orders, the better the price may be - and it would of course depend on his suppliers. He did mention that a one-off order (if that was possible) would probably be around £800. I thought it may be worth a thread as there is some interest in a CW SMIC in the 'Parts wanted' thread. Steve.
  20. As above, I'm looking for a decent set of stock VVTi suspension springs. Thanks, Steve.
  21. You could give Clifford in the UK a try, but they'll almost certainly just refer you to your nearest Clifford dealer.
  22. Fitted a 50 Watt 4300K kit to mine a few weeks ago. I'm very pleased with the result and haven't been flashed once. Fantastic upgrade.
  23. There's a set of UK spec front and rear discs and pads on eBay at the moment for £300 + P&P - here.
