    Boot rubbers

Silly question, but did you replace both top and bottom rubbers? Jamie
  2. How high can you get... 190...so far (...didn't say I was any good )
  3. Thanks nic. The unichip is mapped against boost pressure, and runs in combination with the boost controller to run optimal settings with (in my case) each of the five settings - off, 1, 2, 3 and 4. (I believe that bit makes up most of the difference in cost between the two prices). The other advantage (for me) is that Dastek is across the road from my office (all the other good supra garages seem to be quite a bit away...).
  4. I see, so really the additional costs would be for fitting and dyno time... any ideas on costs for a "standard" fitting and tuning session?
  5. Yeah, that includes fitting and dyno time. They recon it is quite a bit cheaper that the emanage... I've not looked into the emanage system but, isn't the programming software quite expensive? I think it was £311 ex VAT all in for the old version of the chip I have on my GT.
  6. I have the unichip in my Celica GT, made a difference in power, torque and fuel economy... They have only just completed the new version of the chip that is fully compatible with TT. I'm tempted to get my TT done - I just don't have the cash (around £550 ex VAT all in). Jamie

I think hes just refering the stereo typical image, just like saying saying all us Scots all were skirts (kilts) and spend all our time hunting the elusive haggis...no offence is intended, using the term racist is uncalled for. As you said yourself some people find the dress sense of other cultures "funny".
  10. I have the following (from the included readme): Companion CD Readme for Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 Resource Kit by Microsoft Corporation Copyright © 2001 by Microsoft Corporation Is this of any use? Jamie
  11. I'll PM you an address...or two
  12. Chris, This site http://www.coscom.co.jp/help2/jpfont/jpfont.html seems to describe a possible solution... Jamie

...more so in this one! It's actually because hes outside (he's a house cat) and the sun was really bright!
  19. Just a quick word on "fakeraid", the MB still implements hardware RAID (ie the OS doesn't do the mirroring). If performance and resilience were both critical (which I doubt as we're talking about SATA and IDE) then I would be concerned about the stolen CPU cycles. And from a personal note, I find recovering from a failed disk (that was part of a RAID 1 volume) was significantly easier with the "hardware" RAID than its "software" counterpart... Jamie
