Hey Irvy! The guy thats to do the "insurance" bit was on holiday last week - should get an idea of whats happening tomorrow or Wednesday... Did you get a good look at it? I've not been able to think about it much - and I couldn't face going up to see it...it just chokes be up thinking about it Fingers crossed. Jamie

I'm pretty sure I was doing 25-30 as I came off the roundabout - its a 40 limit on the road so I'd be well under that due to the conditions (I drive like a girl in the wet - no offence to the ladies on here). As Todd said its a really small roundabout, I had a taxi on the inside of me, so I was following the lane - which probably added to the crap on my tires. As I straightened up, applied the power, the backend slipped out. I caught the inital skid but in trying to avoid on comming traffic probably applied a bit too much power and ended up on the pavement, but I totally lost control due to some violent bouncing, dropped the clutch but from that point on I was a passenger... it hit a shrub and a post which turned it sideways. I recall hitting the brake but do not remember it having any effect... its all a bit of a blur to be honest... I think what caught me out the most was I knew the roads were slippy, and I was taking my time, so when it let go it took be by surprise. If I'd been in a situation where I was pushing the car on a bend I'd be ready for the backend kicking out! Interestingly enough, there is a article in the Dunfermline Press this morning about that very road being unsafe! Well now I have a good excuse to get my Celica GT back on the road... Jamie

Thanks Rob! The police did say that it down to the construction company to keep the roads clear. This clears that up! I'm waiting for the council to get back to me (3 days apparently), but I'll keep this in mind! Thanks again Jamie

I think it was refered to as Adobe Premier 7, then Pro 1, 1.5, the Pro 2... Pro 2 is definately the software to be using. I used Windows Movie Maker and got some really good results - eventually! Premier Pro just takes away the amatuer look! I also have a copy of the media (iso) if required... Jamie

Cheers mate, it may come to this! I'll let you know - thanks Jamie

Yip, thats what I thought - it didn't help that the brakes seems almost useless! The bumper was ripped off by the shrub, and a fence post did the damage to the light and the bonnet. When the car landed after bouncing on the kerb I did try and stear it away from a 10 foot ditch with a drainage reserviour at the bottom of it. Looking at the tire marks I just missed it! given I was sideways it could have rolled into the water... I've been going over it in my head - and looking at photos - I can quite work it out. Maybe I should wait until I stop feeling sick! Complaint has been made to the council its getting picked up now to be assessed (by an Arnold Clark Honda garage)... Thanks again Jamie

Yip, the very ones - just round from Tescos! Insurance company has been called - I haven't got any spare cash to sort it myself Photos of the road attached...police aren't interested - I'd have to have killed someone apparently... Thanks for the support guys. Jamie

I was travelling to work (same as every morning), but as I was straighting up I hit a patch of mud on the road and spun! must have only been doing about 25mph - but as soon as it landed (after bouncing over the kerb) it just kept going - no brakes! Typical roads round a building site. These construction companies should take more responsibility for the state of the roads round their sites! Front corner is a mess. I'm gutted Hopefully its fixable! Jamie

I got mine from Mr T. Took about a 48 to be delivered - cost less than £20 (I think). Can't recall the part number though... Jamie

If you get the same PCI card as me you can have 4! (nVidia 5200 costs £40ish for 128MB, £60ish for 256MB off Scan/Misco)... Jamie

Two graphics cards. Main monitor is driven by an AGP 6800, the other two by a PCI 5200 (both cards have two DVI adapters - so I could, given the desk space, drive 4). Jamie

3 here - new 19" coming tomorrow (to replace the 15") Left to right, daughter @ 6 months, Supra, daughter @ 8 months... no matter how busy my desktop gets I can still see something I love! Jamie

Anyone clued up on this? I was thinking about decat on the back and a high flow on the front... Would this still need a restrictor ring on a J-Spec? Cheers Jamie
