  1. I'm assuming you have a Clifford alarm, if its the same as mine it has a dual zone proximity alarm which bleeps when someone is near your car (zone2) and sounds the allarm if some is in the car (zone1). You can turn off these zones with your remote either just zone2 or both zones. Its fully explain on page 15 of the manual: Clifford Concept 600 Manual Hope this helps.
  2. Did a bit of searching last night and it turns out that this is a common and very expensive problem with the Fiesta automatic box there is a TSB out for the issue from Ford: I'm going to try and find a complete copy of this TSB. I'm not convinced this is the problem as I'm not sure it's a Z-Tec or whether it has a CTX box. Think I need to get some more info on the car first.
  3. I'll give that a go for now and do a bit of searching on the net for a proper cure when I get a chance.
  4. James, you are a star. Popped into Halfrauds on the way home and changed the passenger side brake light bulb. Warning lights goes out as per normal.
  5. Apparently its fine once warmed up so I think you could well be right, any idea what I can do to sort it out?
  6. My other half has been using her mums automatic fiesta for a couple of months now and recently mention that it always stalls when its cold when you try to pull away in 'D' so she has been pulling away using 'L'. Has anyone any ideas what might be causing this stalling, torque converter, gearbox, etc?
  7. Yeah why not, we can find out what sort of interest there is and then pick a date that suits most. Don't forget to stick a link in this thread to it as well.
  8. Looks good Bill, just had a quick at their site www.millatoundle.com looks really nice and would be a great venue. The menu looks good to if anyone fancies getting a bite to eat there. Perhaps we should contact them first and make sure it's not going to cause a problem for them.
  9. The silver one going up and down atherstone would be me I've got a silver UK TT with a full Blitz Nur Spec. I saw the silver NA ally winged one at Livingwell gym the other day and the driver appeared to completely blank me, guess he wasn't too happy about not having the only Supra there, or it was TT envy. Personally I love seeing other Supras no matter what spec they are. Seen the the Black NA a few times now always get a wave, not too sure about the name 'Lucifer' on the back though Toying with removing the front CAT at some point put will probably wait till I go single. Completely standard other than the exhaust, at least for now. Looking at getting a Stillen nose, Veilside skirts, over fenders and rear spats, a Do-Luck rear diffuser, and a TRD style wing. Want to rebuild the engine first though, so body work will have to wait for a bit. I'll have a look at some possible venues for a mini meet around peterborough and give you guys a shout.
  10. Cheers James I'll check that when I get home tonight, hadn't thought of that
  11. Finished work at lunch on friday so was the first time I'd been by at that time, was the first time I'd seen your car. I've seen about four in Peterborough now, there's a silver Jspec with an aluminium rear wing and jap writing on it, there's also a black jspec with white graphics on the sides, and now I've seen your's too. Nene valley meet sounds like a plan to me, I'd definately be up for that.
  12. Sorry Ian, don't know where the Chris came from Cheers for the info on error codes hopefully it'll give me some answers, and will be of use in the future too I'm sure.
  13. Cheers Chris but I'm already over the 'max' mark I think its the switch itself. You mention error codes and I've heard them mentioned before, how do I obtain these codes and what equipment will I need to do it?

    Cats

I think the front most CATs are different on the UK to Jspec. I've got a UK TT '95 running only the front CAT and Blitz Nur spec exhaust (no second CAT) and it goes through the MOT fine.
  15. Before anyone says it I've searched already. My handbrake and main warning lights are staying on when the handbrake is released. I've done the following: Checked my brake fluid and its on Max. Checked the fluid sensor plug is secure on the reservoir. Checked the handbrake switch is plugged in properly under the centre console. The only thing I haven't done is take the switch itself out to check it as this is a tad fidely and thought I see if anyone had any other ideas.
  16. Think I saw your supe parked at the old pub on lincoln road next to HSS Tool Hire on friday (22-07-05). Was on my way back from work about 1:30. Metalic blue with full Veilside kit? We'll have to arrange a mini meet some time.
  17. Best case scenario: Nothing happens and your change tires when they wear out. Worst case: You have a blowout and crash your Supe, hopefully you'll be okay but supe will be in bad shape, you insurance goes up because you have to claim and how much excess would you have to pay. It's up to you, if you know a good genuine tyre place take it to them and ask, but I think I'd be looking to replace it if I were you.
  18. As Faye said earlier, I think you'll find the reverse beep is only on Jap cars, I've got a UK TT Auto and it doesn't beep. As for the boiling in your expansion reservoir I'd go with John and change/flush out your coolant.
  19. This probably isn't exactly what you were after but thought it might help:
  20. Woolies are just round the corner from me in Market Deeping in fact I used to be quite good friends with the owners daughter. They have an extremely good reputation when it comes to upholstery and renovation. I can definately recommend them.
  21. just not worth the risk IMOA
  22. The front over fenders end where the Front bumper meets the front wing so you shouldn't have any trouble there, but I think you'll need veilside rear spats to get the rear over fenders to fit nicely. don't know whether the veilside spats will fit on the Do-Luck of trial rear end though? Have a look at Boneyards supe he's got a Stillen front Veilside skirts, over fenders and rear spats, and a stock rear end: Boneyard's Garage Hope you don't mind the link Boneyard
  23. No more flats that's for sure, I'm not sure I'd want the structure failing on me though!
  24. Yes you could watermark the movie, you'd need some software to do it, I us Adobe After Effects but I'm sure you can probably do it with other less expensive software. As for the size I would look to halve it if you can (mpeg4 maybe) even with a 1Mb line it would take a while to download an 80MB file but if it's worth it people will wait.
