  1. It always says sheffield for me? I live in essex, always have!
  2. Was gonna head up to this, went to shakespear county last sunday for halloween showdown but that was rained off, not going to bother with this. Shame cos i've just fitted a diff brace and its launching lovely
  3. have a look on http://www.metcheck.com for northampton tomorrow, looks like snow!
  4. "why don't teams invent fans or angled alloy wheel spokes on the inside of the wheels to help cool brakes". Recall reading on the veilside website that the 'Andrews Baccarat' wheels were designed to do this....
  5. Tools...options....privacy...then uncheck the box in saved form information, and click clear to remove the ones in there. Should sort you out
  6. Also with plus.net, £21.99 for unlimited 2mb, unlimited email accounts...they do a 4mb for about £30 and 8mb for £40. Thumbs up from me had no problems with them
  7. Is re-wiring the lights an option. Know its a trick used in FD's quite a bit as the quality of our stock lights are shocking too, nice thick gauge wire from battery through a relay to get the voltage up a bit. Meant to have a noticable effect on ours...not sure of the case with supes, could be worth looking into though as wouldnt cost much at all.
  8. yeah thats what I thought too, unless it was 111 and now 112 to conform with the euro regulations Can remember this from when I was a kid and we had one of them phones think it has been in for ages....
  9. (apparently its because this is the EU emergency number) Ah I heard a different reason, was under the impression it has been there a long time and was to make ringing from them old phones with the rotary diallers a lot quicker
  10. wireless is a good idea, didnt think of that, doesnt autoroute have a gps option aswell, not sure how easy it is to configure but sure i saw it somewhere in the menus
  11. Once you've got the software and leads I think things like datalogit are pretty plug and play arent they (not sure with motec gear), could just have it all permantly wired up and hidden away and open it like any other application...could be way off here
  12. Would be very handy, especially if running a motec/apexi/etc with all the necessary datalogging and mapping bits and pieces Get autoroute on there and have a good navigation set-up aswell
  13. http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_electronics_detail.asp?id=199&pageNum=1
  14. Like others have already said, refuse this offer, send them ads etc, and you will get better offers, may take 2 or 3 times to get near what you want but it will go up. If it doesnt that when to start really slagging off the insurance company... Same thing with girlfriends car a few months back, think it is basically standard procedure now, did you get a cheque sent through aswell. Not that im supporting their (insurance companies) approach but I can see how it has probably saved them a lot of money as for a lot of cars people will just cash the cheque and be done with it. BTW I *think* if you did get a cheque your ok to cash it and still refuse the offer, any additonal money agreed on will be sent out, but please DONT take my word on this, just thought it might be handy
