  1. Doubt I'll be able to make this, I've got stacks on at work at the moment, but if I can get away I'll pop in. Mike
  2. the clips for the coil pack leads (not the usual connectors the ones with a number 7 that clip them in place by the cam covers) Mike - - - Updated - - - or are you referring to the driver footwell mat hook. Mike
  3. echo the sentiments above - was a great day and evening. Thanks for all your efforts organising the hotel. Big thanks to Branners and Ellis for the route and the packs

  6. Probably not the best thing to post this in a public area of the forum. Mike
  7. so the general consensus is that I'm riding with RAC home tomorrow then better safe than sorry though I guess. thanks for the input guys - especially Ian - in combination with the crank pulley Mike
  8. Quick question to all you knowledgeable technical types I came to start up the Supra this morning and there was a bit of a squeal, kind of like a slipping fan belt, but not quite the same. Anywsy with all the rain we've been having, I thought it might be a bit of damp, so drove the car back to the hotel we are staying at ( left it at a wedding reception over night) over the course of the journey the noise went away, but I popped the bonnet when I got back anyway looking in, the aux belt was moving around a little on the tensioner, but the tensioner looked rock solid. further down in the engine bay below the tensioner it looks as though the crank pulley (?) is slightly out of alignment, my question is is this terminal, or rather can I drive it back home, or should I recover 2nd question what am I looking at as a repair job? apologies if this is answered elsewhere on the forum, but I have very limited web access here to search with. 9. moved here as it was a random place to post previously. Hi
  10. Any chance of you adding the prices Geo? cheers Mike
  11. Link doesn't work Presume you are talking about the car in this link. http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-body-kits-styling-shine-auto-project-p-11812.html I can't help I'm afraid.
  12. Just because it doesn't have a copyright message over the image doesn't mean it isn't copyright. It is! As such it is protected by exactly the same legislation as any other image, so Tony would be quite within his rights to ask for the image to be taken down - if not from the facebook user, then from Facebook directly. Mike
  13. I think the stock ones are not universal fit either - i.e the adjuster is only on one side of the seat, aftermarket ones have adjusters on both sides.
  14. One was pretty expensive ( for a relay) from Toyota as I recall
  15. I presume this was because the car qualified for the full CAT emissions test
  16. I had my MOT on Tuesday, and the tester told me that if it didn't have a cat fitted he wouldn't even test it! I told him that it did have one, but that it originally had two. He passed it so you shouldn't need both cats as long as one gets your emissions low enough, and this guy is not what you would call a "friendly" MOT tester (I routinely get advisories for "non-standard exhaust" and "noisy exhaust" This with a Blitz NuR Spec with baffle and centre CAT fitted, I think it purrs quite nicely.) I certainly wouldn't try without a CAT, mine is fitted all the time anyway as it works brilliantly as my restrictor ring. Mike
  17. One thing that makes an import more expensive to insure is that fewer companies will insure it. If it's modified you'll reduce your options further. Don't discount the auto until you've driven one, I find it a very engaging drive, definitely not interested in changing for a manual particularly given the price premium. Good luck with your search. Mike
