  1. how does this work when it comes to buying new games, I'm a bit thick from a PS3 point of view. Do new games not insist on a specific firmware? Is this capable of running OtherOS, or is the firmware newer than the one where Sony removed it? Mike
  2. Are you saying you won't be comissioning any more in the future Chris?
  3. I don't think The VIN plate has the engine number on it - only the frame number, and engine model. See the following reference http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?101452-VIN-Plate-decoder
  4. I have to say that my tyresure TPMS is a Godsend, it constantly monitors the tyre pressures (after the ignition has switched on) and informs me of all four tyre pressures, It was a costly investment, and spent a long time waiting to be fitted due to some tyre fitters flatly refusing to do so, but it has probably paid for itself already, by having spotted a slow puncture, which actually took the tyre place a while to find as it was that small. I would definitely recommend it - I know a lot of other members already use it. Mike
  5. you don't need that much space for camping if you don't have a 12 bedroom mansion tent and portaloo.
  6. I genuinely don't mind - would be good to get more use out of the tent, but I appreciate it's not the most comfortable for Sharon. I'll go with the consensus. Mike
  7. animal is still around and posts occasionally. He still has his Supra michael sold his Supe and stepped away from the forum, though is still around in the background No idea about Matt H but rumours are that he crashed his car, though no conclusive proof. mike sold up then disappeared colsoop - not sure actually
  8. was it rizlam? if so I can vouch for him matey. Mike
  9. Is this still available? regards Mike
  10. August works for Steph, maybe avoid the bank holiday weekend though, though next years term dates haven't been released yet. I would need to book the day off work for the Friday, so as for Ian if we can sort it early enough I can book before anyone else. Mike
  11. Nope - no warning lights on at all. Got a replacement ECU from Keron coming will see if that fixes it. Mike
  12. no need for that, just don't bump it so frequently in future Mike
  13. did you really need to bump your thread the very next day. If people are looking they'll see your thread,
  14. It's the same algebraic solution as yours, just some smart arse can solve quadratic equations in their head ! Their arithmetic solution was a bit of a leap of faith really, they just happened to know off the top of their head some right angle triangle dimensions. You're still my hero Mike
  15. If it's your part, and you are a paid member then you are fine. Just give it a sensible description and state when it's due to end. and if it's not an auction listing include the buy it now price in your post Mike
  16. Trev I could kiss you, this has been driving me mental all day. The question is did Stephen get it right edit: hadn't seen digsy's post:thanku: - so Stephen did get it right - was it luck or is he a genius Mike
  17. Out of interest what are you looking for, for the scooby? Mike
  18. glad to hear you've (hopefully) sorted it Peter, look forward to the better weather so you can enjoy it again. Mike
  19. yeah but how fast must she have been going to leap the flower bed / hedge. The following made me both wince and chuckle linked from the 2nd video also here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?258855-2-vettes-getting-very-close&highlight=Corvette Mike
  20. Knowing Ian "We" would probably mean +1 and Dragonlady, with a potential Ellis. Depending on dates me and Steph will be in. By Friday to Sunday are you planning an early start on Friday, or leaving late afternoon after work? if early we'll have to aim for college holidays or Steph won't make it. Mike
  21. not sure - I'll check tomorrow. which light is it - though I guess if it's on I'll spot it straight away Mike
  22. Out of interest, does this fault prevent the internal switch working too? Mine has started central locking but not central opening, from either the fob, or the internal switch. Or does this not sound like the same fault?
  23. There will be a delay with membership packs as we have run out of stickers, so we have to wait for new stock. Mike
