  1. sorry to but in guys , but have any of you thought of trying Ibra at Pro Alloys in b/ham, he has a body shop on site.
  2. Cheers guys, there may be quite a few Supes in the area but they still look the billy bollox, compared with the Porker and BMW chavs. I will keep my eyes open and watch out for mini meets in the area, get to know a few of you guys.
  3. Ive recently moved back to the area from up north and I am amazed, no, shocked at just how many Supes I keep seeing in and around Bournemouth, just how many are there? There are some real tasty bits of kit around, although, despite muchos waving and flashing of lights, all seem to drive around with blinkers on Can any one let me know of meets in the area? Cheers.
  4. Yep, Soundwave that will have been me - just moved back to the area - amazing how many supes there are around here. Perhaps you can keep me informed of meets etc. Cheers. Sorry for late reply, not been on the board for a while.
  5. Winning bid was by a Gordon! Isnt there a song about Gordon?
  6. Just read this thread, my thoughts are with the young lad and his family, hope all pull through this harsh time.

    V8 Supra anyone?

Sorry Steveo, was in awe when I saw it and I did forget camera. It is indeed the Thor vehicle, it sounds fekkin awsome - 260lbsft torque!!.
  10. Yep, it does exist Yep, I have seen it And yes, I did see under the bonnet. Oh, and did I forget to say its soon to be a 4.2 V8 twin turbo with manual 6 speed box. All thanks to a Lexus Soarer lump. I recon you will all be seeing it pretty soon, I beleive it's off to the jap meet this weekend in its N/A form and then off to the JAE with turbo's. And I must just say now that I have your attention, Ibrar at Pro Alloys is a top man, sorted me out with some Toyo T1r's at a fantastic price, F1's available also at a good price and he does ship, so no need to worry if your not in the midlands. Big thanks to Ibrar, my car now behaves and feels like a Supe should. [-][/-]

    Redundant

Bugga, just been made redundant:( Ah well, onward and upward. One good thing, I get to move back to Bournemouth and am on gardening leave for the next three months.
  12. Hi Matt, they are the Japanese fit to the door type, I didn't like them, welcome to them if you want. Bit Halfrauds-ish.
  13. Ive got some cup holders I took off, you can have them if you want.
  14. My fave - get a bird eye chilli and cut it in half and wipe it around the top of his coffee mug, the residue is invisible and odourless, then make him a coffee, but stand by with the camera and hey presto, instant silly faced pictures of said culprit....
  15. Think you may all be surprised to know it was advertised in last months Top Marques and if my memory serves me correctly it was advertised with 900+ BHP and I think it was c12K, will check when I get home and post the exact price and let you know.

    gutted

Just thought we need more deterents, how does this sound - Douse the little bleeders in petrol and strike a match, bet that puts em off doing it again. Little fekkers.
  17. Go for a drive mate, far more skill needed than kicking a pigs bladder around a field.
  18. Forward observation, speed limits and never assume anything on the roads. Technically you were in the wrong my friend, you were the one doing 100leptons, he probably didnt realise you were closing so fast.

    Cleaning !

Cost and energy needed to desalinate sea water are huge, thus no desalination in this country - Mineral fuel rich countries like Dubai can afford to desalinate. How do people get on filling swimming pools How do farmers get away with using massive hoses How do the water boards get away with losing so much That's my ten peneth
  20. Ark - one heart operation caused by smoking can cost in excess of £20k how many of them per day are carried out? But, fair comment, premiums would be huge. As Pete said, wang shed loads of money on a packet of fags - £20 for a packet of 20 and £15 going to the NHS - Jobs a gud un. Andrew, did you notice I didn't go down the route of the larger people, not that I'm large, but at least being big is acceptable by them who are not, I do find smoking offensive, but accept it when I go into a bar because we live in a democratic society, I don't have to go into the smoky bar but I chose too, but at the same time wouldn't it be nice to think a smoker would respect me and notice I'm not smoking and move away. I detect a minor rant there - sorry guys....

    What do I do!?!

Very very easy - ask yourself who your girlfriend is, Holly or the Mum - Problem solved - look after Holly and her wishes and ask the mum to organise it for another date, as you said it's ages away and flights and mum in laws plans can be rescheduled. It's whatever Holly wants to do here not what the mum wants to do. Keep Holly happy that's my advise, you don't have to live with the mum
  22. We all pay to use the NHS - how can we say no to those in need, we are fortunate enough not to have to use it, BUT perhaps those who smoke should have a heavier premium or have to take out a private insurance scheme to treat any smoking related diseases, caused directly by their own personal abuse.

    Top day out.

I was fortunate to be able to go on a corporate jolly yesterday, to Bruntingthorpe proving ground to a company called Big Thunder. A truly top day. We drove 8 different vehicles from a 40ft artic to twin engined carts. 40ft fully loaded artic - caterham - race prepped Lupo's - aerial atom - shogun off road - Ferrari 355 race prepped and skid car. Has any one ever driven the Atom? What an amazing little car, we all need one in our garages - trust me. And, by the way the only vehicles you have anyone sat next to you in are the Lorry, Shogun and Ferrari, the rest you explore yours and the cars limits. Any way, just thought I'd share that and fully recommend "Big Thunder" and the Atom.
