  1. well, you should either change to a 245/30 or a 235/35 as your current setup actually makes the rolling radius larger than stock anyway.
  2. good luck to him anyway and let us know if he gets it in in the end!
  3. if this is the same car as is in the 'off-topic' thread then i think the emissions will be the least of his worries i'm afraid. not a good position to be in, feel quite sorry for the guy. who imported it for him? was he told he could register it over here?
  4. very nice mate, although i quite liked the silver as well tbh. what wheels are they btw? cost/fitment?
  5. i suggest you search for a post that CW made about braided lines saying there were two different qualities etc. basically one is crap and corrodes, the other doesn't. good luck guys.
  6. Toyota guy who was the first owner when mine was imported bought one from Toyota, not expensive i dont' think.
  7. i think provided they've been paid since then the worst she could do is go through formal disciplinary procedures, no? i.e. if you have a clean history just a verbal warning not to do it again
  8. stop it mate, you're cracking me up....
  9. me either, hence why i looked.......cos if i was busy i'd have moved on past it y'know
  10. sorry mate, i just think it's funny when people call Wigan the North West.
  11. you not have work to do, Bill?
  12. reckons the sound is coming from the turbo itself (or somewhere near there)
  13. afternoon chaps my mate has an Audi A3 1.8T and has recently noticed that it's started making a noise that it didn't previously. says it's when he lets his foot off the pedal after accellerating (i thought that this would be normal but he said it never used to do it). car is performing as normal so i just told him to keep and eye/ear on it for any deterioration. any ideas? ps he says it's not like a hiss or 'pssh' sound you'd get from a BOV but more of a faint 'whirring' sound.....difficult to describe a sound i know. cheers

sorry but i don't think it'll look good at all imo only of course. don't think the carpet would be that easy to replace either mate tbh.

  17. ooohhhhhhhh yeah!! what about dates then guys, is there any time we definitely do or do not want it? (superstar_dj you'll need a bit of input into this given you work at the venue )
  18. that's very odd jon w as i've used the calculator no problem at all lol thanks for clarifying that terry
  19. certainly wouldn't do that mate lol....am a little naive but not stupid he he would just order it straight from apple, got my ipod through from them no hassle at all.
  20. am heading to PC World after work mate, only about 10 mins away from me. spoken to Ty as well, seems very helpful and will maybe give him a ring at the weekend to discuss my requirements. seems confident he can 'save' me from my PC lol
  21. looks good to me Nick, i'm almost convinced........
  22. have i told you lately that i hate you?
  23. yup, i suppose everyone will have different experiences with one pc being as good (or as bad) as the next. still erring towards an ibook or powerbook now though.
