Ive also noticed that when I switch Slip control off it will indicate in amber on the dash, but when I switch it on it doesn't indicate on the dash. I know that the green light works because both lights are on when the ignition is turned on. Any help would be great.

S**T. Your damn lucky to have only come out of that one with whiplash. Cars can be replaced but ppl can't. I hope you get sorted out ok and look forward to getting a Twin Turbo!

The engine management light always comes after been on the road for about 15mins and the slip control light then starts to flash. Ive tried pressing the slip control button to turn it on or off but this has no effect. Has anyone had this problem or know how to sort it out?

It's my first winter in the Supe aswell. I don't fancy my chances with the icy roads so Im gonna go back to my learner days and buy an L reg fiesta! ive got my eyes on one already....£400.....can't go wrong.......skinny tyres!.....wind down windows.....uh oh......could be a wrong move!!! no electrics.......arrrrrggggh:blahblah:

What an absolute scummer!!! Im surprised she could afford to go 2 the cinema, what with all the fags, cheapo vodka and subscription to sky she will have to fork out from her benefits! ........maybe the chippy was closed......or the the local pub wouldn't serve her brats.................so it was the next best thing........ ..................I always get wind up when the ppl behind you start kicking your seat. I always look round and stare em out. If that fails to sort it then I just sit upright as much as possible, so that you know you are blocking their view! It's great when you start hearing all the tuts and moans!

Well it's got me baffled! All I know is that the aerial and signal wire are plugged in2 the head unit. There's no relay about and there are a few plugs dangling about at the back! I can't find anything for them to plug in2 so I assumed it was for the old head unit! It might mean a trip to Mr. T 2mor. Cheers for your help and advice tho Steve.

There is no relay!!!! Could this have been taken out when the after market head unit was put in? Can't the headunit power the aerial without a relay anyway?????

Just ripped the head unit out to locate the aerial relay box and I cant find it. It's a kenwood unit and there is a kenwood black box plugged in2 it. Not sure what that actually does. Any ideas?

Just used the trusty multimeter and Ive got no voltage coming through to the aerial motor. Is that the relay at fault then?

I do have a multimeter hiding in the garage somewhere. If I cant find it then I will do the bulb trick. I will let you know the outcome 2mor, Cheers for that.

Cheers for the advice ppl. Ive jus checked the motor (can't hear a thing) so ive ripped the lot out so I can check the teeth inside (after my tea!) I will also check voltage 2mor. Funny thing was, that when my gf was searching through stations, I had my thumb over the aerial and I was able to pick up alot of them. Does that mean that the relay is fine? or just that the aerial lead is ok?! .......also, are the aerial motor's from a celica or mr2 the same as the supe? cos Im going to a breakers 2mor an I might as well try it. My aerial won't go up!.......I have an after market double din kenwood cd player fitted (Jap spec).....so ive installed the wave band expander....noticed that the aerial lead wasn't plugged in2 the back of the head unit.....so i put it back in.....job sorted i thought.......wrong!.......The aerial still won't go up. Is it a relay problem? aerial motor / teeth knacked problem?..........If anyone has any ideas, please help!
