I am needing to replace my exhaust soon as the one i have has seen better days. All of the ones i have heard are very loud and have a lower booming sound, whilst the sound is nice and typical for a Supra i wondered of an exhaust that has a bit more of a tinny tuned raspy sound for example like a CSL? I have only used the CSL as an example as i know that is a Straight 6 which produces similar power to a BPU supra. Is the sound produced down to the design of the engine or is it just the exhaust that changes the sound? Rich

Hi mate, answered your PM Looking at your symptoms it sounds like to me Subframe to chassis bolts or a Worn Upper suspension arm.

As the weather looks good for the weekend what will you be doing with your Supra? I am fitting some more of the kit for my Tiptronic conversion and checking front and rear subframe bolts. Giving her a wheels off wash and polish then out on the country roads for a spirited drive

Roll cages will be bolt in or weld in. Most... If not all cages you can buy "off the shelf" will be bolt in and you will need to drill holes.

I done some work on my Sills the other week the previous owner jacked up on the sills and bent them, so i straightened them out and found a bit of rust. I used a drill mounted wire brush thingy to remove as much surface rust as i could, then used some hammerite Kurust which reacts with the rust to clear it .... Seemed to work really well...http://www.hammerite.co.uk/products/ps_kurust.html I then sealed the area with Galvafroid paint then once that had set i protected the area with hammerite undersealer (looks like marmite)

GLWTS These wheels are my favourites i have them on mine. That’s a very good price for these even 2nd hand. If you put some Pics up and perhaps more details like Offsets and brand of tyres it would help you with your sale. If anyone wants to see what they look like on a Supra have a look at my garage although mine are 8.5 (front) and 9.5 (rear). I always get nice comments on how well they suit the Supra. I will point out though that the lip is polished and is not steel. -

Don’t do it, Shelby stripes, Viper stripes.... should stay on the cars they are meant for. Otherwise "Its look at that!! a Supra with Shelby stripes" ......how demeaning

I have driven my Auto in the snow from the New forest to Basingstoke, didnt get stuck until i turned to go up a hill to my parents house. In the wet as long as you have descent rubber then should not pose a problem for "normal" driving i.e not gunning it. Ice... well if you hit a sheet of ice in any car you have trouble.

You need to calm down dude... what you mentioned in your last two posts could be considered bullying or threatening. Also mods don't like swearing... probably best if you bring it down a level or 10. No point in changing the thickness of the gasket mate, you may as well just go BPU that is unless your changing everything and going for big power.

Seems pretty cheap for a full set of Suspension Arms (compared to Ikeya and others etc) I wonder how good these actually are? hmmmm... I wonder if it will help with my rear camber....
