Now I know this has been done to death and the whole argument of if you are going to go hybrids then you may as well go single etc.
I was just thinking on my really boring hour and half drive home from work would there be any point in doing the following...
Larger intake plenum - Would this increase the power by a noticeable margin on Stock Twins/Hybrids? I am thinking there would be a "gain" but the stock Tubs (or hybrids) wouldn’t produce enough flow to make it worthwhile. Am I correct in thinking that? Has anyone done this? if so what BHP increase was found? If anyone has not done this then I would be interested to know if there is a technical reason rather than cost on why people do not do this?
Aggressive Cams and Adjustable pullies - Whilst this would produce a bit more torque/bhp power mid range (depending on Cams used) is it worth the investment when using say stock or Hybrids? If not why?
Ceramic coating the stock exhaust manifold and downpipe - This would bring down under bonnet temps but would this have any real noticeable effect on UBT's and Intake temperature?
Aftermarket ECU & Associated fueling mods (Injectors blah blah) - I know this can be done with Stock twins and keep the sequential system but how much of a gain are we talking on Torque and BHP?
Would be very intresting to see, UK's or Hybrids running 1.4bar with Cams, fueling, Aftermarket ECU and larger intake plenum and see what it makes?
