  1. Built this for an 80's themed party we had and now its simply too big to stay. Would look good in a man cave, or some retro game room. It currently has around 20 games installed mainly from the 80's but if you go onto the various rom sites you can download more. The following system emulators are installed with RetroPie: Amiga (UAE4All) Apple II (Basilisk II) Arcade (PiFBA) Atari 800 Atari 2600 (RetroArch) Atari ST/STE/TT/Falcon C64 (VICE) CaveStory (NXEngine) Doom (RetroArch) Final Burn Alpha (RetroArch) Game Boy Advance (gpSP) Game Boy Color (RetroArch) Game Gear (Osmose) Intellivision (RetroArch) MAME (RetroArch) MAME (AdvMAME) NeoGeo (GnGeo) NeoGeo (Genesis-GX, RetroArch) Sega Master System (Osmose) Sega Megadrive (DGEN, Picodrive) Nintendo Entertainment System (RetroArch) N64 (Mupen64Plus-RPi) PC Engine / Turbo Grafx 16 (RetroArch) Playstation 1 (RetroArch) ScummVM Super Nintendo Entertainment System (RetroArch, PiSNES, SNES-Rpi) Sinclair ZX Spectrum (Fuse) PC / x86 (rpix86) Z Machine emulator (Frotz) The Orange and blue parts are UV paint so looks great when lit up with UV. It will be collection only though from the Southampton area. Price wise... Offers??
  2. He is dreaming if he thinks he can sell that mess of a NA for over £5k, Plus if he really thinks its worth that sort of money then why would you indicate that he would scrap it? He must be rich of he can just "throw" away thousands of pounds... Looking at the MOT history it was recently MOT'd (24th November '16) however its last MOT expired in April 2010 so its been sat for at least 5/6 years (outside by the looks of it) I'm sure it drives really well though lol
  3. Glad you have managed to keep the car What happened to the FF?
  4. Indeed it is, Went to see this yesterday and had high expectations for it and it well exceeded those. IMO Makes the Force awakens look like Episode 1. The last Vader sequence scene is just epic...
  5. Exactly this. Arm yourself with the buying guide on here and ask to see if there is a member of the forum that does not mind coming along and helping you go over it. Or at least take someone who has had some experiance with buying good second hand cars and knows what to look at. If you like one, BEFORE you buy it (it probably wont sell fast at this time of the year) just put a post up on here asking if anyone knows the history of it. We dont need to know what company is selling it blah blah but whatever supra it is, its bound to be known to someone on here with some real life history of it.
  6. Nope... I get it now... Yep it will take off... What an idiot lol
  7. LOL I see both sides of the argument and the other side has good theories but... I cant agree with you on it I would agree with you if the conveyor was at a constant speed. However the argument is the conveyor matches the speed of the wheels at all times. So If the conveyor was set at 100mph then yes for the plane to achieve 200 mph the wheels would need to be moving effectively at 300mph. The engines in a normal situation would provide a forward motion to the whole aircraft and therefore the wheels would rotate allowing the plane to move, so effectively "driving" the wheels in that direction through forward thrust provided by the engines. If you have an equal opposite action of the wheels rotational motion then the plane will sit still but at full thrust as the converted rotational forward energy (at the wheels) would be neutralized by the opposite direction of the conveyor.
  8. I dont get that.. of course they are Just not directly... I cant help but think this "physics problem" was made by members of the flat earth society .. evidence staring at them in the face but wont believe it.
  9. Its simple. The treadmill neutralizes the engines thrust... therefore not allowing the plane to actually move forward (although it is moving)... which means no airflow over the wing... no airflow no lift. Next there will be a thread... "If the plane is stationary and there is a 300 mph headwind ...will it take off" .. YES .. YES IT WILL http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/000/554/facepalm.jpg
  10. There is one near me a UK TT6 in Red Pink which has been sat now for probably getting on for at least 5/6 years. Need to get around to finding out who's it is and asking to have a little look, perhaps even a really cheeky offer if its worth it.
  11. If you can meausre the hole centers then I can see what I can do mate
  12. Here is the new position of the rear wing on our race car. As you can see its at a much better height now. Also the new polished Wing supports look... b..e..a.u tiful https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15325158_1820756264870831_9015023299879013147_o.jpg https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15304590_1820756371537487_4004963789053340170_o.jpg https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15235929_1820756261537498_9069925863138155990_o.jpg https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15272144_1820756258204165_2724819911381360323_o.jpg https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/15259396_1820756361537488_5808617152696669390_o.jpg
  13. Not for looks no (well apart from the polishing) It all came after making the rear profile of the car using CFD, it showed that the wing was not at an ideal height to work as well as it could, so we made these mounts to raise it up (which is around the height of the roof) this will allow it to attack cleaner air (as in CFD it showed that the rear window of the car produced some turbulence therefore reducing the rear wings efficiency) now it will sit just above the turbulence made by the rear window but not be too high as to look "odd". Of course whether it makes a massive difference or not is yet to be found out however I do want to squeeze as much efficiency out of the stuff I have on the car as it stands and then make adjustments on wing angles etc. Would love to have access to a full sized wind tunnel with load cells .. it would save SO much time.
  14. Ah the wing is massive its just the height, Voltex do the 30mm extenders however the lead time is astronimical and so it the price, even then it would not bring it up to where the wing needs to sit.
  15. Thanks, we (as in my company) made them (I cant say as it will go against trader rules and I dont want to pee anyone off). The Spolier is a Voltex GT Type 3 wing.. it will pretty much look the same as it does now only it will sit higher and the supports will be polished aluminum. Once they have both been polished up I will fit it to the car and take some pics
  16. Been really busy with family and work commitments recently so have not been able to get on with the car, One thing we did finish though was our new Voltex rear wing brackets. The wing has never really been high enough to function to its potential so we made these which bring the wing in line to where its supposed to be just in the process of polishing them up.. was going to anodise them but thought ah what the hell lets get the wheel polisher out. I promise I will be getting the car out very soon, HONEST. You know how life is though as soon as you think you may have some free time to do something.. there is some time vampire lurking just wating out there ready to strike as soon as you think you may have some time spare... its been non stop. Once they have been polished up I will get some of them on the car, right now I am covered in brown cutting compound.
  17. Yeah me too, I dont really like either drivers tbh but out of the two I dislike rosberg more.
  18. Whaaaat, they are no where near the quality needed to demand £300 for each wing. In fact they are no where near the quality to sell anyway.
  19. That has got to be the worst carbon part I have actually ever seen. And they sell that.... for like Money?? Can I ask how much you parted with?
  20. Yep, although he does not respond to PM's... so email him or call him - 07971-952084 [email protected] Here is his user link - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?54-Chris-Wilson
  21. Im sure Chris Wilson will do them for you for some poundage..
  22. Perhaps your arm pressure springs are knackered.
  23. Nice stand and Nice cars.. they aint stock though are they...
