  1. Wow 380's under 18"'s... would look crazy My front and rear 356's with calipers only "just" fit on my 18" Rota force wheels. There is about half a fingers width between the caliper and the inside of the wheel.
  2. Cheers mate, its amazing that they weighed the same as the other ones No worries, I thought you may be busy, there are a couple of things I need to talk with you about so when you get back let me know and I will give you a shout.
  3. Sounds like a slave cylinder issue to me. My one went on friday...
  4. Videos are being uploaded to youtube now.. In the meantime here are a couple of pics, will have some more later..
  5. No never got around to it, as I was so delayed by trying to get the car under 100db with the most miserable scrutineer in all of history I ended up only had the afternoon sessions in the end to take the car around! There will be plenty more opportunities though
  6. Will get some raw ones up shortly Was nice to meet you too mate, and man... you really know how to put a supra around the track! My slave clutch cylinder failed on the last session warm down lap coming into the bobbies chicane, so had to get the car recovered home. I Didnt get in until 1am this morning
  7. Hi All, Its typical isnt it on my last session and on the warm down lap on my trackday yesterday at Castle combe I blew my Clutch Slave Cylinder. So I need to get hold of one pretty urgently, its for the 6 speed manual box. http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/529871_10151627741265112_813440111_23883910_557167989_n.jpg Does anyone have a new one they can sell me? Traders Welcome
  8. Ha FPS russia, I have been watching his videos for a good year or so now... Funny guy "Let see what we can do.." "and above all have a nice day" One of my Fav's
  9. Thats good news, I would like to come and have a look but I am not around this weekend as its my anniversary. Where abouts in Kent are you?
  10. I may be interested in this mate, I am still in the market for a 4x4 to tow my track supra to racetracks that are further away. Have you got the details/receipts of the engine rebuild.
  11. Really nice result mate, looking forward to seeing this
  12. Cant blame them for trying... Wait...... yes you can...
  13. Its just me being fussy, you see the holders I have are designed for use with SPST so dont have the extra contacts. May just bite the bullet and use SPCO relays as mentioned without holders and just use blade connectors. Its just that it looks better if there is a specific holder for it
  14. I need to make new car circuit with a couple of these relays. Farnells does not have any in the UK and maplin only stocks SPCO relays. Does anyone have any lying about? If so I need to have a couple ASAP in time for this Saturday ideally.
  15. Do you reckon you will have it and all done by the 4th May? Although It would be cutting it pretty fine? Bignum and myself are at Castle combe.. Would be good if you could come too
  16. Hi Mate, Thanks for the reply, yeah the charcoal canister has been removed, looking at the hanger assembly of the tank it already has one of those tank vent valves, perhaps its not working properly either that or the exhaust is heating the tank and is overcoming the release capacity of the valve. Going to have a look tonight, also going to check the fuel return line to make sure there is not a blockage in there, although I would have thought it would not increase the tank pressure very much if there was.
  17. I am too a hampshireite Just taking a wild guess here, but are you in Chandlers ford / Eastleigh area? From your picture it looks it was taken at the end of school close...
  18. Hi All, I need to make a heat shield for my fuel tank. As some of you may know I do not have a standard tank and a standard exhaust system (in how its routed down the car), The last part of the exhaust passes just below my tank and whilst the pipes are wrapped I think the tank is getting too hot on longer journeys (I have excessive pressure building up in the tank). Does anyone have any suggestions on what is the best heat barrier material to use, I have done a lot of research on what material to use but as this is the tank I want to use the best I can find. Looking on the net and on forums I get a lot of conflicting statements about the different heat barriers so need some guidance. I was thinking of putting reflect-a-gold on the underside of the tank with a panel of Nibus lite shield between the already wrapped exhaust and the tank. Does anyone else have any experience with the above products or suggest alternative products?
  19. Be careful of Camp corner, Folly and Quarry corner these are where most people are caught out.
